They’ve announced the figure immediately after the final whistle against both Leicester and Arsenal .

I’m labouring the point here, which I’m sure you’ve already picked up from others, but those two games were successive record attendances at the Amex but not announced by the club. The reasons being fairly obvious.

Who really gives a flying ****. We all know they call it attendance and we all know it just relates to tickets sold so I have no idea why so many seem to get so uptight about it other than using as a stick to beat the club.

Absolutely... this debate has been raked over so many flipping' times and the answer is always the flippin' same; if someone has paid for a seat but for a myriad of possible reasons doesn't show-up then that seat will be empty.

Take the Arsenal game; a late KO in monsoon weather, when live on TV, in a nervous emerging from pandemic world, when parking has been reduced, there's a fuel crisis, and you can no longer pass a physical season ticket to a mate. What a massive surprise that a few thousand don't show...
