do you prefer shorts?

That's the other thing about the US - their shorts measures are massive. A couple of whiskies and you're singing A Scottish Soldier in a Glaswegian accent; half a dozen, and you're doing Krankies' impersonations.

US beers

not always, I've managed to find bars that do 22oz "pints" too.

As for beers, the bog standard Sam Adams is ok, Sam Adams seasonals are better (and stronger).

Heartland brewery in NY is great too :drink:

Drink your own urine. It will taste far better, and will probably contain more alcohol, than most of the brews that the yanks pass off as "beer".

When have you drunk my urine in order to make that comparison. Did I charge you?

I think you are taking the piss!

Stay away from anything commercial, such as miller or bud. (bud is the worst beer ever, who thinks up Bud Select......0 carbs, 0 calaries,0 taste. Why not just put a pink label on it and give it to girls?)

However, a lot of micro brews are fairly decent, as is some of the "imported" (normally from canadia) beers, which normally carry a european label, such as foster or heine.

Most bars will carry stella......its been a god send!
