RDZ is a one trick pony I'm afraid.

He last year spent most of his time bigging up the two players who left, even so far as hanging a For Sale sign around their necks. Then bitterly complained we hadn't replaced probably the best partnership in the EPL. Since then he has expected our players to play constantly dangerous tactics that haven't seen any progression. Refuses to change those tactics. Refuses to remove Gross ever from the team and for the last three months games have passed him by. He just jogs (top Gross speed) between the opposition players. He's had no impact Lallana the same.

Top coaches adjust their tactics to fit those available RDZ doesn't, he exposes the back players to impossible situations. Last year was the same yet because we scored so many it hid the deficiencies in his game plan. Their third goal today sits firmly with RDZ not any of the players involved.

His attitude has been awful for ages, frankly he needs to be told he's nowhere the finished article he believes he is. Big clubs will look at his methods this season, I doubt anyone big will want him.

Well before Christmas. Our form has been relegation form since we beat Bournemouth on the 24th SEPTEMBER!

And even when we won those games in August and September, I can remember posters, Bozza may even have started one from memory, saying we weren’t actually playing that well and had been a bit lucky.

It’s been a miserable league season.

Not just the results. Sitting in our Amex seats bored and frustrated as a comatose Albion with no drive and little pace play Potterball. After 10 minutes an optimistic and noisy NS quietens to lone shouts, chatter amongst mates, then 30 minute half times boozing.

It couldn’t be more removed from Hey Jude and Put Yours Hands Up For Brighton.

But he’s not a club manager in the old sense, as explained in a recent Martin O’Neill interview about modern football. The directors and their specialists decide which players they go after and sign, ‘managers’ now have a small say at best. Control freaks Arteta and Guardiola might be the two exceptions, Manure made the mistake of allowing Seven Hag to dictate and he signed a crock of.

New players will be signed for 4 years over a period of 2 or 3 coaches, the Albion won’t allow RDZ to determine a squad rebuild.

He’ll have to work with what the club hands him.
That's the theory, yes. But what happens when the players signed by "directors and specialists" fail? What happens when a club go on a bad run of results? Do the specialists fall on their swords? Rarely. The Head Coach/Manager is sacked. Yes, sometimes the head of recruitment might go (a change we have made previously, of course) but until the cult of personality around 'the manager' ends, that's who is first in the firing line.

Therefore, RDZ will want to work with the recruitment team to influence the squad he will have next season. His reputation will suffer if we're way off the pace next season.

Isn’t there a quote from RDZ that basically says either he’s had enough - or the players have enough of him because he’s very intense.

Definitely sounds like the situation now

He will be gone day after Man U game.

I genuinely want him to do well with us, be an exciting manager and have us excited about watching his brand of football.

But recently he’s been the embodiment of total apathy.

Genuinely like the players have so little belief anymore. Very concerning, I wonder if the players don’t trust him anymore

Big supporter of Roberto still but getting clearer day by day he simply does not want to be here anyone. Getting hard to defend him

After hitting poor form, this is clearly the case, sad as it is, I am starting to agree here. f***ing infuriating that he isnt flexible in his approach. We would be screwed if we hit a relegation battle.

Yep, my tolerance levels have been breached.... his random and fathomless selections and subs are a key factor in these recent results and performances.... I think TB will have his finger on the trigger after this.... especially since the Roma away debacle, we have been worse than poor.

Barco, Mitoma and Enciso will be giving a nod towards their agents.... Gross, Lallana, Milner and even Wellbeck and Veltman will be off.... big rebuild needed.
