Whing - 7 - Solid, good going forward

Butters - 7 - Very solid
Lynch - 7 - Good performance, hope he's not badly injured

Robinson - 7 - Played well, looked stronger on the ball
O'Callaghan - 8 - Quality passer of the ball, just one misplaced pass
Hammond - 8 - Good pen, well captained, always looks dangerous from corners
Cox - 8 - MOM, Superb performance, great goal, good passing and crossing

Savage - 7 - Great determination and work rate, cannot win a ball in the air, should be used as a supersub IMO
Forster - 7 - Didn't get many chances, but should have put away the one-on-one

Subs -

El-Abd - 7 - Superb block when we were 3-0 up, but the feeble backpass let him down
Martot - 7 - Took his goal well, didn't have much to do, looked pretty good
Revell - ? - Not on long enough, should have started IMO

Kuipers 7- Didn't have much to do, but when called upon made some decent grabs in the air.

Whing 8- He had an fantastic game, looked solid didn't put an foot wrong.
Elphick 8- He had another blinder, definitely the NEXT big thing.
Butters 8- won almost every header, didn't get beaten on the ground either.
Lynch 7- needs to learn to run with the ball more, but played ok.

Robinson 7- had some good runs with the ball at his feet, needs to try and shoot more often. Instead of looking for the simple pass.
George 9- His passing and tackling is absolutely fantastic, sign him up now.
Hammond 7- Still doesn't look fit with his nasty gash on his leg.
Cox 8- Took his magnificent goal so well, looks alot better player then last season.

Savage 8- Tried his hardest, didn't do much attacking. But worked hard when he lost the ball, and then he regain procession.

Forster 7- He had quiet night, I still don't know how he kept the ball from going over the byline in the first half.

Subs:

Revell 5- Nothing to write home about.
El-Abd 6- Still not sure why we brought him on, when he had Rents on the bench.
Martot 7- Took his goal well from an excellent counter attack, starting to gel into the team. But will still need to time to get used to English football.

Totally agree, especially about jakey. Nearly every time there was a chance for him to have a decent shot on goal he decided to pass it. Can't really complain as the team performed class tonight

That is the best I have seen us play since we beat Swansea 3-2 at home last year.

Kuipers 6-Not much to do.
Whing 8-Looked back to his best
Butters 8-Is he really 38,Won ever thing in the air
Lynch 7-Looked steady, not sure about him taking corners
Elphick 8-This lad is going to be some player reminds me of John Terry
Robinson 8-Wow back to his very best
O Callanghan 8-The kind of player we have been crying out for
Cox 9 Mom-Excellent,great goal,looked a top player 2 nite
Hammond 8-Again looks back to his best.Showed some silky skills
Forster 7-Ran his bollocks off, made some great runs
Savage 7-Ran his bollocks off to,some good touches

Subs
Marlot 7-Looks very fast, took his goal well
El Abd 7-Some crunching tackles made
Revall not on long enough

Crowd 8-Very well done south stand packed, well done to the the family stand as well

Halftime-Think the chairman had one to many:D

Have to say I though the Ref had a very good game,Millwall looked good for the first 10 minutes but after that we overan them and could of won by more than 3-0 nil, great to see the crowd up by 1,000

Elphick has looked absolute quality this season. If he continues like this for the entire season he won't be here for the start of next season. I can't really remember the last time I have watched a Brighton defender and thought "wow".
First look at George (for me) today and thought he was superb, he definately helped us to get further forward and gave Hammond a bit more freedom.
My first Albion Home League win (and yes i've been to many a game at home) and was probably one of the best performances over 90 minutes i've seen.
We now need to build on this performance and start winning/getting points away from home. Relegation will not be an issue with that sort of performance.
Millwall weren't great but i've seen us play teams worse than that and struggle to win 1-0. We just seemed so much more confident and long may it continue! :)

Kuipers - 7 - Not much to do but handled well.
Whing - 7 - Solid display and some good link up with Jakey in the first half.
Butters - 7 - Never lets anyone down.
Elphick - 8- Our best defender again. Not too long before other clubs get to hear about him I suspect.
Lynch - 7 - Played his part in the clean sheet, but get the feeling he would rather be playing in the middle.
Robinson - 7 - Looked determined, a few good runs but still seems to lack confidence to have a crack at goal.
George - 8 - Better than Bertin. Its a shame he's not an Albion player. Whatever the shortfall in what we offered him for wages was I'm sure there won't be a shortage of clubs willing to meet his demands on this display.
Hammond - 7 - Best game this season. Still has more to offer though.
Cox - 8 - Great goal and looked full of energy. I still don't understand why he plays on the left. Everytime he wants to cross he has to check back to get the ball onto his right foot.
Forster - 7 - Still looks a great buy. Can't moan about lack of service tonight.
Savage - 7 - I thought he was a donkey last season. I thought I was wrong after seeing him come on in the last two home games. Back to being a donkey tonight, however his prescence does give the other team something to worry about and you cannot fault his committment.

French bloke - 7 - Put himself about and his goal finally buried any fears of a Millwall comeback.
El-Abd - 6 - Why with Rents on the bench?
Revell - Not long enough.

Kuipers 7 - Sod all to do
Whing 8 - Excellent game, defended well and was good going forward
Elphick 8 - Quality defender
Butters 7 - Solid, dominant in the air
Lynch 7 - Great defending but not aggressive enough going forward
Robinson 7- Some strong running but could have used the ball better
Hammond 7 - Usual effective self without being outstanding
O'Callaghan 8- My first sight of him; what a good player - someone with skill and vision
Cox 8- Absolutely storming performance in the first half worthy of a 10. Not so strong in the second but a great game all the same
Savage 8 - Doesn't do much but his work-rate is awesome and he petrified the Millwall players
Forster 6- Doesn't look like a striker who's going to score 20+ goals. Should have scored tonight and needs some extra sharpness

Subs
Martot 7 - Took goal well
El Abd 7 - Nice bit of aggression when it was needed
Revell 6- Lost some momentum when Big Bas went off

Kuipers - 7 - Nothing to do

Whing - 7 - Showed what a full back who can overlap can offer.
Elphick - 8 - Absolute class
Butters - 7 - Solid
Lynch - 7 - Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Why did it take so long to substitute him?

Robinson - 6 - Patchy
O'Callaghan - 7 - What the doctor ordered
Hammond - 7 - Okay but somewhat quiet in the last two matches. Perhaps having George around means he doesn't have to do absolutely everything in midfield.
Cox - 9 - Terrific, especially in the first half. Great goal.

Savage - 7 - Didn't exactly grab the opportunity to start with both hands but works hard enough.
Forster - 7 - All the signs are there that Forster will score lots of goals. Lacked pace for the one on one but has enough guile to suggest there is more to come.

Subs -

El-Abd - 6
Martot - 7
Revell - 6

QUOTE]

I totally disagree. The thing that has impressed me about Jake this season is he has stopped shooting from 40 yards and started using the ball more intelligently for the benefit of the team. This must continue if he is to make the transition to a winger. Looking for the simple pass is exactly what O'Callaghan does.

Kuipers - 8 : Some great catches, didn't put a foot wrong.

Whing - 8 : Very impressive performance, shame Robinson sometimes failed to notice him overlapping.
Elphick - 8 : Not as active as last week mainly due to the fact we played so well. Did well whenever needed.
Butters - 8 : Very solid.
Lynch - 7 : Didn't look totally comfortable on the left, but did alright.

Robinson - 7 : Played well, but decision to sub him was the correct one. Feel he should attack the byline a bit more, rather than cutting in.
O'Callaghan - 8 : Great passing, showing slightly more ambition than last week. Cocked up a few, but was great on the whole.
Hammond - 7 : Far better than last week, a good captain's display. Seems to struggle to get the ball out of the box from set pieces.
Cox - 9 MOM : Superb goal, superb performance. I, amongst many others, felt it was maybe time for him to have a rest, but when he plays well he is one of our most important players.

Savage - 7 : Some great touches, a few decent runs, the Millwall defenders looked terrified of him. Deserves to keep his starting place, achieves a lot more than Revell IMO.
Forster - 7 : Looked a lot sharper than last week, winning set pieces with some great turns. Some good runs also, but should have scored with one on one.

SUBS

Martot - 7 : Some great stuff with O'Callaghan towards the end and a very well taken goal, could easily have blasted it over.
El-Abd - 6 : Looked very energetic, but probably should have been Rents instead
Revell - 5 : Not enough time

It always amazes me when people give a goalkeeper 6, then follow it with didn't put a foot wrong. How the hell can he get a 10 then?

Kuipers - 7 Not really tested by Millwall, but was confidently taking every cross that came into his area.

Whing - 7 We've not as marauding going forward as when he was on loan, but a solid display.
Elphick - 9 Move over Butters, there is a new Tank at the Albion. Superb, did everything required, highlight was a great sliding clearance the only time when Millwall looked like they might actually score.
Butters - 7 Solid performance
Lynch - 7 Another solid performance, is willing to get forward but not as effective as Rents when he gets the ball in the final third. Took too long to sub him, just hope he is not seriously injured and the injury wasn't made nay worse for staying on.

Robinson - 7 Hard working display with some very good moments, seems more willing to get stuck in now too.
Hammond - 8 Easily his best display of the season, having O'Callaghan directing things should help him.
O'Callaghan - 9 Superb, kept the midfield ticking over with simple passing to feet, always makes time for himself on the ball, showed some lovely skill, and also is already taking charge of the midfield, talking and directing players, get him signed!!!!
Cox - 9 Tore strips off them, crossing was superb, scored a great goal, had a similar one well saved, one tiny criticism is that a third chance he had he tried too hard to put in the top corner when on that occasion he didn't need to. But looked back to his best.

Forster - 7 Overall looks good but seems to take too many touches when he is in and around the box, was hoping after scoring last week he may show a bit more confidence/directness when he had the chances. Still more to come from him I think.
Savage - 7 Worked hard and unsettled the Millwall defence, didn't make the same huge impact as Southend but played well.

Subs:
Martot - 6 Scored the goal, but other than that I wasn't particularly impressed, looked a yard behind play to me. Still he is adapting to a new league.
El-Abd - 7 There was a little discontent that he came on not Rents, but I could see the logic, he's a more defensive option than Rents, and justified it with several good tackles and blocks. One dodgy moment with the bad backpass to Kuipers, was on his wrong foot though.
Revell - No time.
