Kuipers 7 – Superb handling and decent distribution. Needs to work on his physio training, however. Why he didn't want Lynch to get treatment when he was clearly struggling and the game was pretty much won is beyond me.
Whing 7 – Solid in defence, would have liked to see him get beyond Robinson more.
Elphick 8.5 – Class. You can almost see the opposition wilt at his physical presence.
Butters 8 – Commanding in the air and clearly enjoying being "the daddy" of the defence.
Lynch 8 – Linked up well with Cox and often overlapped. Seems to be the only left-footer in the squad and his height is wasted taking free-kicks around the box.
Robinson 7 – So often lacked any final ball or finishing product to his runs. Tracked back well, but could learn a lot from Coxy.
Hammond 8 – A different player when playing with quality. Box to box and always involved.
O'Callaghan 8.5 – Will be gone at Christmas. Best midfielder in the stripes since Sidwell. Everything looks so easy for him – even a misplaced pass looks, well, effortless.
Cox 9 – Thrilling first-half display. Dangerous in-swinging crosses and a wonder goal.
Forster 7.5 – Looked really sharp. Unlucky with first-half header which the keeper knew very little of. Got frustrated at lack of service after the break as we sat back a bit. As others have said, more to come.
Savage 7 – Was a bit disappointed. Took a while to get into the game and lost too many headers for such a big man. Can't really knock his effort, though

It always amazes me when people give a goalkeeper 6, then follow it with didn't put a foot wrong. How the hell can he get a 10 then?

Well, I presume a rating of 6 would be the par rating, so 5 would be a sub-standard performance, 7 through 10 would be for players excelling and doing something special

So for a keeper to 'not put a foot wrong' to get a 6 is reasonable to me, if they were not required to do anything out of the ordinary
