Steve Foster for buying me a shandy when we used go to a different pub every Mondays night to make the draw for the Seagull Lottery.
Each night was a different player in attendance, and he was the only one who ever bought me a drink. top bloke.

Mike Ring, forward, local lad hardly played and ended up with Horton at Hull.
Any Ansah, popular bubbly character during the Gillingham days, was with dream team on Sky.
Micky Bennett, built like a bring s**t house.
Damian Hilton, striker on loan from Norwich, awful !:albion2:

Graham Winstanley, Got his autograph in the late 70's when the players got off the special train. Had no idea who he was Because he had glasses on. Luckily his autograph was readable.

I wonder what the greatest Albion tache-tastic side would be like. Probably with Binney and Ward (circa 1983) up front.

Nooooo, It wasn't Bill Cassidy it was Jack Smith who made up the famous five. Also from that team come the names Jack Bertolini and Mel Hopkins .

Mel by the way, can be seen sitting in E block south stand for many home games.

Should be the Famous Six really. All six scored at least 10 goals, even though Cassidy was only the Reserve forward (didn't have subs in those days!). I think they got 101 League goals that season - happy days!
