Possibly one of the worst things we get called on to do. Its not all snooker and cats stuck up trees, unfortunately.

It's no fun for anyone Bry and you guys have my sympathy and respect along with everybody else involved, It's horrible parts of our jobs that a lot of people dont even think about having to be done.

Or striking.

No, or striking.
(btw, none of my watch were in the union, hence we didn't strike and none of us ever will).

My Brother-in-Law works at a ranger near Beachy Head and finds many bodies washed ashore. :nono:

Even a decapitated body a month or so ago.

Does he get pi**ed off with it well BOF?

This is now confirmed as ANOTHER fatality

There was a third one in the London area somewhere as well today VH, I'm glad I was'nt travelling on the 09.21 Brighton - Manchester today because by all accounts it got sent back from London to run via Redhill and Guildford because of a fatality, And then got caught up in the fatality at Purley. Bad journey or what?

He snagged the perfect job in his eyes - access to the quiet life of the sea and cliffs. Faced weekly with this sort of drama, although not so gory. Gets him down quite a bit.

I bet it does BOF. Does he get offered counceling after dealing with these incidents? It's something they eventualy introduced a few years ago on the railway and not before time either.
