I'm supposed to be getting the 11.46 from Haywards Heath to Brighton. I take it there's no chance of that happening then?

Well, the nationalrail website tells me it's 'delayed'...so i suspect even if it doesn't that there's going to be a major knock on effect!

It probably does seeing as all trains from Haywards Heath to Brighton originate north of Croydon.

All Trains that go through Haywards Heath heading south have come through Purley. So yes, you will be delayed.

Why can the trains just continually run over the body.

Apparently they do it with sheep in Sweatyland.

Slow lines via Rehill have now re-opened, but Fast Lines are still closed.

I didn't think fast lines existed in this country.

In certain circumstances they can and do. They still need to stop the job while the body is shovelled up though.

How long does it take to scrape it up? It always seems like these delays go on for HOURS.

Perhaps all platforms could be fitted with body bags so that those wishing to jump could get in one first so that they would not cause so much mess.

They need to invest in one of those machines that the GHOSTBUSTERS had for sucking up things. Then its easy to suck up the mush and then flush the worthless fucker down a drain somewhere :jester:
