before his account was deactivated he made a number of posts saying it wasnt him. How true that is i dont know. But people of a certain age like to do this 'facerape' malarchy, so he may well be innocent.

Like it or not, whether it's relevant to you or not, Twitter is relevant. It has played a massive, life changing role in many people's lives across the globe, especially regarding Arab Spring etc. I don't use it but frankly anyone denying it has got clout is a f***ing moron.

He claimed his Twitter account was hacked. But, over the past few months his Bebo (sp?) account has shown similar sentiments apparently so I'm inclined to disbelieve him.

I personally don't believe in the existence of offence but I think strirring racial hatred and being downright insulting is deserved of some recourse. Personally I'd let him crack on and ignore the twit but I see why some people wish to take time out of their lives to pursue it.
By the way, anyone, ANYONE who posts on here but claims Twitter/facebook etc is for the idiotic/lonely/insecure and cannot see the irony, hypocrisy and abject failure to grasp the lunacy of their statements needs to 'ave a word with themselves.
