You didn't expand, you told me about your childhood and made a silly insinuation.

you couldn't fill your knowledge of Islam on a postage stamp

I have Muslim Sunni relatives I'm from a staunch R.C family, I reject Catholicism as much as I reject Islam

I would never comment on a topic if I didn't know anything about it

Just saying

Ok.

I did not realize we had to know everything about a subject before we could comment, I thought that is how people learn about things, pretty sad world when someone can not reply without the thought police condemning you.... Bit like religion in a way funny that. Anyway who makes you judge and jury about what I know or don't know, do you honestly think you can make an accurate assessment via a message board....

As for the monkey, banana comment bit lame and thoughtless to be honest on a thread about racism don't you think.

Just saying like.

Don't you think you might, just maybe, have an irrational dislike towards Muslims?

It's not the religion, it's the people. Muslims generally come from second or third world countries and poverty, war, oppression and violence is all they have ever known. I suggest visiting Turkey to get a better idea of what modern Muslims are like.

I went there once. It was full of moustachioed hairy blokes groping the tourists. Yes, men as well as women.

Have you seen Midnight Express?

This. If there was a need to use indicator dogs during a search of a Muslims house I suppose it is normal to remove the occupants first anyway? Or is that not the case?

Depends on the situation. No urgent situation (say the execution of a warrant to arrest a terrorist) would be delayed or cancelled simply because of religious sensibilities, not if lives were at risk.

But that directive posted above relates to all sorts of situations. If the police were simply to wade into a normal everyday situation with no regard for a community's religious beliefs: well that's exactly the sort of stuff that can help to fuel extremist views of our "Western" society anyway, so personally, I'd regard it as quite helpful to know what is likely to cause offence.

This is exactly the sort of pandering that gets peoples backs up, its THEY who need to adapt to how things are done here, not the other way round, its do gooding views like this that encourages muslims to keep demanding special treatment.

Quote me, besides what do you mean by Muslim? Practicing, non practicing ex Muslim, Shia, Sunni amhedia etc?

It's not the religion, it's the people.
How racist are you?, is this al taqya?

Muslims generally come from second or third world countries and poverty, war, oppression
Incorrect

violence is all they have ever known.
Hizbullah ( Islamist party)say it best when talking about the house of war (non Islam lands) "they love life as much as we love death, al ham dullah

Muslims are Muslims, the majority of them don't practice, some are not even believers, according to a recent study in Saudi Arabia 46% of students at rihyad university are homosexual, these people, there is a massive underground atheist culture in the Middle East.

when the west defeated Nazisim we didn't blame the Germans

Muslims on the whole are no different to anyone else

I do find Islam very boring though maybe you should study some sahih Hadith or read al tafsir or stop being so touchy?

Buddhists accept homosexuals the Amish would pray for him or shun him they hang them from lamp posts in Iran

What's your point?

Yet there are several majority Muslim nations that have never criminalised homosexuality. Whereas, until very recently, in Christian Uganda homosexuality was punishable by death (I think this has now been reduced to life imprisonment).

In many countries it was the Christian British colonialists that introduced laws forbidding homosexual acts.

You are more googlist than Knowledgeable about Islam. Probably not Irish, as well. Having spent 2 years in Riyadh I doubt there is a recent study stating that 46% of students are homosexual at the University. I do, however, agree that Islamists have to be stopped but not Islam. Go back to your toilet.

I only just heard about Islam when you mentioned it just now

Probably not Irish, as well.

There are people living in this country 30 years that cannot speak enough English to ask the price of a potato.

agree that Islamists have to be stopped
Stopped from what? What's wrong with Islamists?

but not Islam.
What is the difference beetween a Muslim and an Islamist? What is the main barrier. Were talking wahabist

Go back to your toilet.
You are potato mate

You are potato mate

The woman on that video makes so highly dubious claims. In a country where you can get lashed, beaten, chemically castrated or killed for being gay, 46% of students at Riyadh university admitted to being gay?

Out of interest, how did you stumble upon that video? I see it was posted by "translating jihad"; an organisation that aims to highlight the problems with Islam.

Non Irish seagull. Your video comes from translating jihadnow.com.

The most important point is that not all muslims are Islamists. Islamists believe in an Islamic caliphate or, for you, are fundamentalists wanting to create an Islamic state without boundaries.

Next time your in the toilet read The Islamist by Ed Husain. He covers what you preach.

George Bush and Tony Blair were as ill informed as you and look where that has left us.
