Looks a really great prospect IMHO - very impressive and commanded the back four.

Got caught out once near the end and booked but otherwise sound as a pound.

Well, McShane is only on loan, and Guy won't be round for ever...

He is probably better in midfield. Had Lynch played last night he probably would have been at centre back with Tommy Elphick.

Just wondered as i went to school with him.

Better late than never....only just managed to carch up with NSC after a couple of days away. Having driven down from work (Bristol) and crawling round the M25, I was ready to be extremely hacked off if Tuesday night had been a let-down. How wrong I was! Sensational turn out, and YES - the player I was most impressed by (apart from Gatting) was the left back. All of a sudden we seem to have this potential problem area solved for many years to come.
