Well does he?
I hope not.
Nope rather not see the club pay stupid amounts of wages to players no matter who they were, TB would never let this happen & we have shown we dont need to offer huge sums thats how we ended up vicente and CMS when they no doubt got offered more else where.
If wages were right, he'd be the PERFECT striker for our system. Finally a replacement for Murray - a strong link up striker with an eye for goal himself.
Five goals in the league last season, and seven so far in this season.

While of course he's still a striker and should probably be getting 10-15 goals a season, his role these days is much more as a link up man between his strike partner and the midfield. I went to a few games when he was at Fulham and he was the catalyst for everything Fulham did going forward and was superb at bringing others in to the game.

I agree he is a foil to the rest of the strike force, but we don't have players as good as Fulham. If we spunked £90k a week on BZ's wages there would not be a huge amount left for other signings. Blackpool's TOTAL wage bill last year in the Premiership was £11 million, and you are suggesting spending half of that on one player. BZ will always be dear to us, but £90k a week is too dear.

He'll be the best paid player in the Championship. Will be interesting to see what happens to him if QPR do get relegated though, but I don't really think we're getting promoted.

I've always doubted that - he said it also about WH, whom he supports. No doubt he has fond memories of his time here, but "love" I doubt very much.

West Ham was his local team and the club he supported as a boy, Brighton was the club he made his name at, and he's often said that the favourite years of his career where at Albion. Having said that scoring in the play off final for West Ham must have been pretty special for him too. I guess perhaps love is too strong a word
