Where are most peeps going? A few chaps, inc me, are heading to the Crown in Shirley Road, not too far but far enough for a few liveners without too much grief we hope.....

Well youre sorted then arent you? What doe sit matter where anyone else is going?
In case it's dull, or we move on perhaps?
If you put this much thought and planning into something as simple as having a beer before a game of football I cant see it being anything but.
Judging by your nickname you will use the one nearest the station and then get a cab to the game.......
I'm advised of a Weatherspoon's The Sir Admiral Lucius Curtis
Dn't know it, but that's where I'm heading
I used to run a pub down there, and been 15 years since i left it, so will revisiting memory lane and go to The London Hotel on Oxford Street, also O'Neils along same road, and then down to Ocean Village, where hoped to eat in Los Marinos (hope it's still there as had the FITTEST birds behnd the jump..) before a toddle up to the ground..
On way back, Square Balloon and couple others for a swifty..
( I await current S'Hampton residents to inform me that none of the above pubs are still open, or indeed have the same name anymore)
Hiney;there used to be a real rough pub down there in the 80s called The Compton Arms.
Is it still there?
Blimey - where to start.
If you mean the London Hotel on the corner of Oxford Street, then take your BUTT-PLUG because it's now the main GAY pub in town. Sunday night is cabaret night I think, to go with their ever-popular 'Fri-GAY Night Project' evenings.
O'Neills has also changed name to, I think, The White Star - I could be wrong about this though.
Finally, Los Marinos has been DEMOLISHED and a load of flats have been built although there are now a couple of trendy pubs on the waterfront - Banana Wharf and The Pitcher & Piano
What was that shitty pub that we went to last time with the 'bar' up a flight of stairs...it looked semi-derilict.
Sadly this ones not open Sunday afternoons
