Accentuates how divided Britain is and how volatile. I have sympathy for the new government facing this so early on but the focus must be on how all members of our society are brought together to share common values whilst respecting our differences.
There was a time, not so long ago, when I believed we were in that place but something (many things) has gone wrong.
But I retain an innate belief that moderation, tolerance and democracy remains what makes us British.
