Anyone else here see on SkyNews a little prick in Boro with a pole putting every front window in, on a row of terrace houses?

A small child could have worked out what I meant even if perhaps grammatically it could have been worded differently. I'd wager you are the only person in the entire cosmos who didn't understand.

The issue here is that there is a sizeable minority with a hefty dislike of immigration and asylum seekers.
This is weaponised and whipped up by bad actors ( including nefarious foreign states ).

And here we are.

The only long term solution is education and persuasion.

Going forward that is on Starmer for now. Nothing else.

How does one go about educating and persuading oafs like this? They're not interested in being educated.

I'm 99% sure it's Wednesday. The stripes are too narrow to be Brighton or Huddersfield and those bits on the sleeves look like the SW shirt.

This will pass because the overwhelming majority of us are reasonable people. Many, many immigrants put us to shame with their behaviour and work ethic but no country can keep absorbing illegal immigration.

I am a right of centre voter. I think we need a completely honest and open conversation about getting along and sharing common values and respect for the law of the land. Doesn't help if those on the right are dismissed as 'scum'

I respect all opinions and we need to work together and not be swayed by the actions of a minority.

I posted the above earlier, in response to a post made by @WATFORD zero earlier.

The post was an attempt to moderate the temperature on this thread a little by keeping the conversation focused on the issues and not fellow posters. Whilst the request to ‘play the ball and not the man’ still applies to all of us on here, I’d like to retract the ‘final warning’ bit, which I agree is not needed.

Whilst I appreciate this is probably of no interest to anyone except WZ and myself, I’m always happy to make a public retraction where merited.
