I’m absolutely convinced a lot of these agitators are foreign, possibly even Russian govt backed or similar.

Picked up and broadcast but easily led English simpletons

Great news in this day and age so many of the perpetrators in these clips are being named very quickly
There was a post that tracked the key agitating accounts on X. One called Channel3News or similar had been dormant for 6 years but previously had been posting Russian content. Channel3News has been a key ‘source’ for some posters sharing misinformation.

"the Titanic sunk because they let too many on it" "Britain will sink because we let too many in".

No, it sunk because it hit an iceberg!

I think she'd drunk too much strongbow.

Also, while I'm not a scientist, I don't think Britain is a hollow vessel floating in the Atlantic.

I agree, Facebook etc needs to do more.

It's becoming common place, useful idiots for regimes.

Russia/Iran etc etc stirring up hate and convincing people to march/cause damage harm

When I started posting here I couldn't believe how toxic this forum is. There may be about 10 to 12 activist trolls holding court but its not their fault per se, this is a failure to moderate in a competent and even handed manner.
you should answer questions with facts

I heard the PM say that the social media companies have to do more to stop people spreading lies online (very difficult if not impossible to do in real time) but surely the police need to find the people sharing the lies too and prosecute them. WayneGb88 and that knob on Tiktok with no teeth should be some of the first to have their collars felt.

It doesn’t help that the MP for Clacton is a shameless stirrer. His message this week with baseless, very deliberate open ended questions, gave legitimacy to lies from Russia.

Using one example of the racism after the Euro final we lost, the police tracked them down and I believe a stupidly high percentage of them were overseas pretending to be English, not a lot you can do

I agree, think most on here will agree with SKS words, but I think they were naive and played into the like of Farages hands

He should have mentioned all the violence in the last week, by mentioning the Southport / Hartlepool riots only he's fuelled the view that it's a two tier response.

I think the timeline is as follows:

1. Manchester Airport
2. Rioting in Leeds. Best be careful with policing.
3. Far right see a weakness
4. Southport
5. Chaos.

I'm not passing judgement, just trying to understand how we ended up here.

So the fact plummeting living standards have lead to a rise in violent crime can be attributed to immigration not the case that rich (mostly) white men have taken all the money, shows how powerful the manipulation of ideas is. The Tories, Reform and even sections of the Labour leadership have constantly pointed the finger at some of the most vulnerable in society as they wash ashore. Britain's immigrants not only contribute to the wider society, both culturally and through work and tax contribution, they actually keep our schools, hospitals and care homes running. It is bollox about Muslims changing the British way, societies always evolve or we'd still be burning witches and dancing round maypoles. Most Muslims believe in kindness, fare pay, unionised workplaces, a fully funded health service and education, that people should be able to live free from violence and abuse. Whilst coming from a Jewish family and married into a Muslim one I find this hatred of the other f***ing vile. Violent zenobia is being legitimised and these scumbags claim to be protecting the British way of life - is that one of mindless violence and hatred. The fact that the unbelievably tragic deaths of children is being used to unleash black shirt terror on families is just mind blowing. Britain is looking more like Germany of the 1930s with every news story and bullshit YouTube clip I see. Do people not remember the terror that black and Asian community has to live through in the 70s and 80s? I'm flying out of the country tomorrow morning for a fortnight and you lot better sort this shit out before I get back.

It really is scary times. This is not unique to the UK, there is a scary rise in far right ideology across Europe and the US.
And why is that , people are getting pissed off liberal, left wing governments and councils , who don’t care about the average working class man in the street, this has been building up for a long time

Law and order …. my long term view, it remains, is a one track get tough on all crime.

Stop n search stepped up in London knifing boroughs across all colours/creeds, metal detectors, antisemite chanters arrested, as well as the full crackdown on fascists. Including on online hate speech.

Needs to be across all parts of criminality and seen to be so. Community sensitivites shouldn’t come into the arrest or manhandling of anyone suspected of breaking the law.
