This is the tricky part

If a certain group are committing crimes, you should be able to target that group more?

I think we are at the point where hurt feelings are the least of our worries.
I think part of the problem that the Police face is hurt feelings take precedence these days.
Lack of support from Westminster from a soft Government.(No matter which party, before this gets derailed)

Reform and the likes of Robinson are effective because the main parties are doing nothing to really help the working or middle classes. Few people below the "Rich" class are better off than they were 10 years ago and no one really seems to be doing anything to really change the mass transfer of wealth away from normal people to the mega rich and corporations. Politicians really dont seem interested in serving for the benefit of the public. Public services are in tatters and all we really hear is that yet again austerity type measures are required. Add the flames of mass illegal immigration to the fire and what we are seeing now is the result. Things are only going to get worse unfortunately. Oh and WW111 is imminent.

Can I have a go?

Xenophobic, chauvanist, mouth breathing, violent, thick ****s who can't handle their beer.
So if someone is most of the above, but can handle their beer, does that make them less ‘far’? And is being violent an exclusive trait of the FAR right, not may be a thing the ‘a bit right crowd‘ can do? The definition you have used seems a bit, well, thick. Does that make you far right?

It has become a bullshit term used by those who consider anything or anyone not socialist, to be a Nazi. Utterly meaningless really. But dangerous as it alienates so many.

You just won't say it will you. You'll skirt round, insinuate and blether but won't actually say what you mean for fear of either sanction, ridicule or factual responses.

A huge irony that much of your NSC career was spent ironically quoting rap lyrics with the 'N' word in you now seem to want to call a spade a 'thing that could possibly be used to dig up some vegetables'.

Absolutely classic far right WUMerry.
For the avoidance of doubt…

A) I understand that this message board is not a truly public sphere and what is posted online has consequences, not just for me but also it’s owner. I am always respectful of that position and in my view I have never abused the “contract” that being a member of NSC requires.

B) I don’t have an “NSC career” I have a moderate history of posting over the last decade and I certainly have no concerns of being ridiculed or sanctioned by posters on here with histories of literally tens of thousands of posts.

That whole statement conveys the paradigm that you look through when moderating on here doesn’t it? Seriously, and I mean seriously, do you honestly think I give a sh*t what someone with 30,000 plus posts on here thinks of me or my views?

Individuals with that volume of posting history screams out that they don’t have much else going on in their lives, for them being on here is like a kind of tragic addiction.

C) I know you love innuendo, so for carity I’ve attached below the full lyric sheet to the OFFICIAL England song for Euros 2021 for you. Verse 4 you will note, as sung by Millionz clearly has the word “niggas” in it. In other verses, you will note references to mysogny, violence and drugs.

It continues to amaze me that the new politically correct blazers at the FA never checked the lyrics out before it was released.

The fact I received a ban for accurately quoting its lyrics, and/or other offensive lyrics from its creators (Krept and Konan) in posts on that subject didn’t mean I was being racist, it meant the moderating team (in a round a bout way) must have agreed with me.…….in my view it was a ban I can be proud of.

Have a good day kidder.

The current government has been in power less than a month. Give them a chance. I would have liked to see the benefit cap overturned, but think that it or other anti-poverty measures will follow once they’ve worked out how to finance things. They’re sticking to the principle of not doing things unless they can show where the funding is coming from.
The state of public services is not something to be turned round overnight…. As the new government has frequently stressed.
I would have thought it was clear that austerity is NOT on the agenda. Public sector pay was one of the main victims of austerity, and that is being turned around.
In terms of mass illegal immigration, i saw somewhere a few days ago that the number of people turning up in boats here is far lower than in Italy or a couple of other places.

1) “I’m not going to say it, I’m going to say some other stuff instead”

2) You know Bozza and would presumably understand that a) he’s not going to pick a moderator who doesn’t give a shit about NSC and b) despite that you’ll be treated the same as any other user,

The events I mentioned are the events of the last week (which this thread is about). If you want to talk about previous acts of violence too, that's fine by me. What would you like to say about the acts of violence in this country in general?

You said 'events like this'. It was a knife attack so I thought you meant knife attacks. So what sort of events were you referring to?

You're not making sense. You just said that for you it's an act of violence by the mentally ill, and then you've contradicted yourself and said the root cause is not mental health.

So what conclusion will they/you draw? I asked you what the root cause of all the stabbings were. Do you have an answer?

Could you quote some of the posts on this football forum that say that Huw Edwards was treated cruelly, when he was mentally ill? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just thought people here were against Huw and his crimes.
I try not to spend too much time on here, I’ve just done one post so I can’t respond in full like you. Sorry about that.

Suffice to say, I don’t trust the Government/establishment narratives on these violent knife attacks, because they don’t make sense. I can remember IRA violence back when I was younger where they engaged in brutal murders where victims including innocent children, but they were never mentally ill they were violent terrorists.

Back then of course we never had IRA attacks PLUS murderous knife attacks on innocent children by the mentally ill.

Perhaps it’s Thatcher’s fault?

Read my point A), my response was about me, not you.

The Fatherland
When a significant minority group is marginalised it is done with great risks involved. Terms like facist, racist, Neanderthal, moron, knucklehead, scum etc etc are banded around freely without much thought as to their accuracy or their effect. Whilst offering no support in anyway to the actions of those who rioted rather than remembering in Southport, or those who attempt to trash mosques, synagogues and police stations, it should be acknowledged that many people on the right (not far, or extreme) feel utterly disenfranchised. It is what led to Brexit, and it seems those guilty of the marginalisation still have their heads stuck in the sand.

There has been a major increase in the number of foreign nationals arriving on British shores in the last fifteen years, whether they are legitimate migrants, asylum seekers or whatever. When people who have felt uneasy about this (be it fear of change or economic reasons in areas like Lincolnshire) have voiced concerns they have been dismissed as poorly educated, ill informed or worse by those who feel morally superior. Even after the Brexit result there has been a constant diatribe of insulting and patronising comment towards those who voted for it, constantly blaming them for nearly all of the problems in the UK. So even when in an electoral majority many of the voters feel vilified and ignored by the so called educated classes and politicians.

Significant minority groups need yo be listened to, but as Brexit showed, this group are more than a ’minority’. They are an undeniable factor in British culture and politics. Forget Farage and Robinson, they are just opportunists jumping onto a passing bandwagon and then trying to take the reins. Serious politicians should be listening to the genuine concerns that a sizeable part of the electorate have. This does not mean granting every persons every wish, but more of gaining a feel of how to get the less reactive and inflammatory folk who feel disenfranchised back into the fold of mainstream politics.

Basically it would be foolish to continue to dismiss and ignore the feelings of a sizeable chunk of the population as it leads to what is happening now. Less inflammatory and dismissive language is required from all sides in an attempt to find common goals. This needs to happen in big politics, but also should start being practised by the community at large, especially online. Even those in positions of so called authority should perhaps ’moderate’ their tone.
This is a bit rich. What happened to “democratic will of the people” and “we won, get over it”? Or doesn’t this apply when the roles are reversed?

These utter knobbers really should be heading to their local hospitals for their protests/riots/arson attacks.

If my recent experiences in both Worthing and Crawley hospitals are representative of the country as a whole, then targeting a hospital will give allow them to get to as many immigrants as possible in a single hit.

Of course, that most wonderful of British institutions, the NHS, would be in utter collapse without this army of wonderful, compassionate and caring souls looking after us all, but that would surely be a small price to pay.
I am in my 7th year of cancer treatment in London and I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for the wonderful people who have looked after me and the majority of them are immigrants.

For most taking part in these riots I suspect it’s an opportunity to show off how tough they are as individuals with the additional benefit of a bit of pilfering on the side they are just thugs low life criminal.
Its the ones who are organising these riots that are the foot soldiers for the far right who are almost professional rabble rousers that it’s most important to catch as they will have links back to the real criminals the far right ideologist’s they are the ultimate targets get these locked away far from the rest of the prison population

It's a sick joke, we had a financial crash in 2008, in part because of deregulation of banking practices. The Bankers get bailed out, the rest of us pay with austerity. The English Nationalists try and succeed in blaming the EU for its regulations and open borders to immigration as the reason we are skint. We leave the EU, we get more red tape and more immigration, and more skint. We change the government, and within a month, English Nationalists are calling for a change of government, blaming asylum seekers for the murder of kids, by a bloke born in Cardiff.
Its f***ing tragic, in several ways.

But if you complained about brexit you were told to accept the result and get on with it.

Now we are told we must understand why these far right hooligans are upset about knife crime / immigrants / Muslims / Asians and whatever other lame excuses are being trotted out for smashing up and burning things.

And all it’ll do is cause public money to be used to fix all this shit 🤦🏻‍♂️
