When I had my test last year, I was impressed at how quickly the results were sent out.PCASO result already through today from test on Saturday - thankfully green/low risk currently but not taking anything for granted......

According to the NHS app my result of 0.6 is within the normal range of 0 to 2.9.
This is on my letter
ThanksGood luck.
Slight difference on variables.
They've probably been updated but the NHS is miles behind in updating their app perhapsSlight difference on variables.
You'd think it'll be the same
all the best with it mate , the waiting sux , try not to dwell on it , it achieves absolutely nothing .xJust back home , found it absolutely horrendous to be honest. Lost count of anesthetic they injected to stop the sharp pain . Doctor says prostate is abnormal and seems to think its probably cancer but need to get results back. Got another MRI scan to go through to check bones. Should know morning 2 weeks. Thanks for your messages, must appreciated
Thanks mate, been trying to keep it as far back in my mind as possible. At the end of the day as you say worrying about it isn't going to change anything. Be glad to get biopsy results and get this 2nd MRI done though .all the best with it mate , the waiting sux , try not to dwell on it , it achieves absolutely nothing .x

Sorry to hear this, and it certainly is a bit of a shit way to get the info. Does seem that the prognosis is still positive for you though, based on my limited knowledge.Received a letter this morning saying I've got T3b prostrate cancer . It was picked up on 1st mri last week . Really don't think it's right to receive this sort of news through the post ? Looking on Google it means the cancer has spread to nearby tubes but is treatable . I'm sort of relieved I know sort of whats going on but bloody angry it's come through the post leaving me guessing whats going to happen next .I'm a bit numb about it all at the moment and sitting out in garden drinking pineapple and black pepper gin probably not the best idea but hey ho
Thanks mate, I left it for awhile as I'm type 2 diabetic and peeing a lot is one of the symptoms. After speaking to doctors they put me on extra tablets which have a side effect of you guessed it , more peeing ! Only recently went and said its really bad at night when they gave me a psa test which came back horrendously high . Since then I've had a mri , biopsy and this letter . Next week is the 2nd scan and then hopefully get full picture if what's going on . In the mean time I'm enjoying the sunshine here in Suffolk and having a drink or 3Sorry to hear this, and it certainly is a bit of a shit way to get the info. Thanks for sharing your story though. It’s really important and will definitely encourage other blokes to not ignore symptoms.
I think that's what happened to me, although not told at the time .It used to be but doesn't need to be hit and miss any more. An MRI will show them the tumour and the correct area can then be targeted accurately (template biopsy).
You would, trust me !I don't recall such a device being used either time, and I suspect I would remember
Firstly, hope whatever treatment you need is prompt and goes well. That’s a very strange way to hear. Even for my relatively unconcerning case, the news was broken personally by the Consultant with a McMillan nurse present for moral and practical support. It sounds like a mistake and thankfully not representative of the usual experience. It’s worth mentioning in my opinion. I think it’s important to be be pushy about the admin aspect of the process by chasing things up if necessary. That’s where there tend to be issues due to workload but I’m confident the actual medical treatment you receive will be of the highest quality.Received a letter this morning saying I've got T3b prostrate cancer .
