Nope. Top for long ball accuracy outside of the top 6.

You will have to do better than a screen shot image with wording without spaces. (TheOther14)

What does Goalkeeper Distribution after 5/7 even mean? And what period does this account for?

You will also need to provide the link with the image for me to take it seriously.

I also want the stats of how many times the ball is kicked straight out for a throw in per match as that is my point and this is not shown.

I can’t be bothered to read all the usual excuses after the third thrashing by a top team in a fortnight. So bored of Brighton fans excusing crap. Our small town mentality by a majority means we’ll always be just that. Until fans who want more can be forgiven for criticising and pointing out poorer players without a deluge of ‘ooo, you’re negative’ and ‘what do you expect against billionaires’ type comments (that ignore almost every other ‘small’ club has turned over a top 2-3 side at the height of their powers in the PL except us, who just go out already defeated because of bizarre team selections half the time) then we’re going to remain so. Tonight was unacceptable. Even if it was City. And even more so given Liverpool and Utd also best is at home comfortably. Potter ball? It’s so shit at times it’s better called Pottyball.

Oh bore off. We play two days before Southampton so rest four of our hardest working players to give us some extra energy on Thursday. We still have to play for points but in your mind we should grind our best players into the ground, risk them getting injured and probably lose anyway. Man City are effectively owned by a country and are serious CL contenders and were “on it” last night.

Granted we were naive, players rusty, wrong formation etc but if you don’t like the football we’re trying to learn and can’t accept being beaten by a very seriously talented team (worth over £1bn) in a very congested fixture list where rotation is absolutely key, go and support Liverpool. Man Utd, Chelsea or Man City. But once again, bore off. You clearly never went to a game at the Withdean.

Seen enough of him to make my mind up by Christmas 2017. Been saying ever since, seems penny has dropped for a lot of the rose tinted brigade tonight. Being nice, and ‘positive thinking’ in the PL gets you feck all compared to a decent attacking midfielder who can score a goal and first instinct isn’t to see where the keeper is...his keeper...

And who defends? Dutch internationals not good enough for your version of Brighton these days? Within two posts (that I’ve noticed) you’ve demonstrated what an entitled, ignorant, troll you are. Learn some appreciation and patience you petulant tool.

I can tell you that he kicked the ball out for a throw in once against City and twice against Liverpool. I have said in a previous post on this thread that he is a good goalkeeper but have also criticised him for kicking the ball out for a throw in once or twice a game and has become a bit of an unwanted habit. If you take a fact as attacking a player you are being an over sensitive snowflake.

Yes it was very poor.....if there’s no reaction (change) in the last 3 games I’ll be wading into Potter & the squad as well. Think this was seen as one to take up the rear end with little or no chance of a result (leaving Maupay and Lamptey out confirmed that)...........

So how come, say, Southampton (for example) didn't do that ?

Yet his accuracy is still the best of the 'other 14'.

So how come, say, Southampton (for example) didn't do that ?

They hadn’t already just played two of the best teams in the land and are not in danger of relegation so could play a full strength team with no concerns about future games?

Lamptey is just a kid and is being protected I suggest. Maupay? No idea it’s odd that our best striker doesn’t start games.

The real difference is that the Saints keeper had a blinder and was man of the match. I believe City had as many shots on Saint’s goal as they did against us.

You can raise yourself for one game against the top sides and may do OK. Two will be hard but doable. Three is a step too far it seems and lack of believe and confidence after two hammerings showed

Why will I ‘have to do better’ ? I don’t calculate stats, just share what I see. Anyway, as you’re too lazy to look for it yourself :

Whole season, up to July 5th

Haven’t seen any stats re kicking the ball out, but it would be within the long ball numbers.

What?! This entire thread is about people expressing the opinion he’s not what we need if we’re to progress! And not for the first team. We get it, you think he’s great. I agree...but for the teams playing us. Time to replace.

Propper would be like Oliver Norwood if we got rid, stick him in the right playing environment and a player fans don’t rate as good enough ends up being the dynamo in a top 8 team.

For certain, either here or abroad.

He was awful on Saturday and has made some bad mistakes recently but he is a V6 smooth player on his day
