This is all a bit horribly familiar for me, personally, as it’s a similar trajectory of something we went through with a relative last year. The NHS sorted her out and she’s back on an even keel again now (touch wood) but it’s horrible, and with a young family must be horrific. All the best to her and all of them, cancer’s shit but it is now beatable.

LBC took a call this week from some old tw@t who’s immersed in them ….. he put himself on a pedestal as having a fantastic enquiring mind. That the rest of us don’t have his gift. ].

I'm not a royalist by any stretch but I'm just looking at them as a young family. Your wife and father are dealing with cancer and your brother is a complete twat! You do feel for William.

I'm 100% republican (with respect to the royals, absolutely not with respect to US politics!), but as somebody who's wife is also going through cancer treatment I can absolutely relate. It's a horrible thing to deal with.

I think the media will likely stay away now. They are better than they used to be. It's fools in social media who seem unable to shut up.

Any woman who has cancer as well as young children has my deepest sympathy and best wishes. Too many are taken too early. Wishing her good recovery.
