None of their business. Whoever they support.

I genuinely sympathise with her and The Royal Family, and on a human level I hope she makes a swift and full recovery, but continuing on a human equitable level who else gets immediate treatment, pre-emptive chemo, then 4 weeks off witht he whole family to heal with absolutely no worries about money or running a household?
The world HAS changed. Harry has "quit" The Firm, Andrew has been cancelled, the Queen is dead, the Royal Family is looking frail, struggling under the media glare. Yet whilst there is The Civil List and we live in a constitutional monarchy there will be a degree of accountability and expectation from the people, and the media will feed and amplify that because they have a product to sell.
Expecting the media to back off or people to stop speculating is just unrealistic. I would be happy never to hear or read another word about Harry and Meghan but never a week goes by without them being in the news. They court publicity and - unfortunately - this increases William and Kate's profile as the media seek reaction and counter- reaction.
This is completely and hideously inappropriate and I have reported it.I am glad that the truth is now out there.
Sadly, I think that this Kate situation has shown that the relationship between the people, the media and the Royal Family is beyond repair. It is impossible for them to have any sense of normal family life under the global media glare.
I truly believe that most of them are decent, but surely the game is up now. If you take money from the taxpayer you have to have a degree of transparency and accountability, it is a contract between the monarchy and the people, but newspapers with dwindling circulations and a plethora of media channels need a daily diet of stories. This cannot work in the modern age and is inevitably going to end up with a tragic suicide or Diana Part 2. Enough now.
Yes, absolutely this. My daughter (a few years younger than Kate) has just been diagnosed with cancer - ironically at exactly the same age as I was diagnosed with cancer. Still, I'm still here 37 years later, so I fervently hope they are both still around and tolerably healthy (if a little elderly!) in 2061.Really shocked to hear this news even though some warning signs were there. It was a very brave statement to make and so dignified. You could see and feel her physical and emotional vulnerability. Sincere wishes for a full recovery.
Glad the statement was made, now some idiots might keep their distance.
Never understood the fuss about the photo, it is just a photo ffs, plenty of other much more important things happening in the world.
I wish her and Charles well with their treatment, not a royals fan, but they are just people after all.
I want them to go away down a holeJust read the statement from Harry and Meghan. Doesn't it just exude warmth?
Stuff and nonsense, big f'ing deal and made no difference to absolutely anything in anybodys personal lives, just a poxy picture, goodness sake.As for the photo, the "fuss" was from agencies who were sent it and rightly so.
I wonder who wrote it for them ?I want them to go away down a hole
But it seemed a responsible response
Doesn't say anything - monsters that want kate dead
Say too much - look at them jumping on it for attention.
It was yet another opportunity for malicious mischief. Ironically it is the ostensibly Royalist Mail that is one of the biggest shit stirrers here. I recall all the sneering about her mother having been a 'trolly dolly' on an aeroplane. The narrative is that Kate is a fake money-grabber with no class. This narrative especially appeals to the snob element of Daily Mail readers (i.e., all of them). And any anti-royal chat also ropes in the republicans, as the two ends of the political horse shoe once again meet in an unholy alliance of wrong.Glad the statement was made, now some idiots might keep their distance.

Are you saying that William and his missus' best wishes note seems appropriate?I want them to go away down a hole

I am. it was fine. Are you saying that William and his missus' best wishes note seems appropriate?
If so, I would agree with you.
And the fact that it has been made public is also appropriate.
For me it's the contrast to what King Charles said. It's all about the language. Harry could have used the words ' my brother ' or ' sister in law ' and his use of the word family seems disjointed like it's someone else's. Your brother is your family!I want them to go away down a hole

What a staggering over-reaction and misunderstanding of my post. This is completely and hideously inappropriate and I have reported it.
I should add I’m astonished it has been allowed to remain.
Completely disgusting. I’ve put you on ignore and really hope none of your family are diagnosed with cancer, let alone commit suicide.
You sick f**k.
