Blank for me this month but Mrs HS copped £225
Have to be in the system for a month before being entered, so if that's the case for you, fingers crossed for next draw. After reading this thread, and looking for ways to tuck away some of the money our daughter has as investments, I told the wife stick some in Ernie. Maximum invested and first draw, diddle squat, hmmmm I hope over the year she gets lucky.
No idea...........had £5 in for about 40 years before we started putting more in but couldn't say when prizes started (other than it wasn't in that first 40 years )Open question - how much money did you put in before you won anything?
Best win ever for me this month (after 4 months of blanks). £500 from a £9k holding.
oh, ok we only got them two weeks ago, that is comforting and saves a bollocking for not getting a return yet.Have to be in the system for a month before being entered, so if that's the case for you, fingers crossed for next draw.
2 months before it goes in the drawAfter reading this thread, and looking for ways to tuck away some of the money our daughter has as investments, I told the wife stick some in Ernie. Maximum invested and first draw, diddle squat, hmmmm I hope over the year she gets lucky.
Incorrect - they have to be held for a full calendar month to go into the draw for the following month, so if you buy on 31 December, they are in the draw on 1 February2 months before it goes in the draw
It's a 'flutter', but you are guaranteed to win £1M .... or you can get your stake back if you don't!Moved all our £20k PBs into high interest easy access cash ISA. No chance of winning big but getting almost £100 every month.
I think PBs are for those who are either already maxed out elsewhere on tax efficient savings or like the "flutter" of win-big versus win-nowt with stake protection. No right or wrong answer.
Not quite all of your stake if you take into account inflation, you also miss out on the magic of compoundingIt's a 'flutter', but you are guaranteed to win £1M .... or you can get your stake back if you don't!
"you are guaranteed to win £1m" is an incorrect statement! It's a 'flutter', but you are guaranteed to win £1M .... or you can get your stake back if you don't!
i've had a few hundred/thousand for many years and scooped around £25 one in a blue moon. When I lumped in extra to make my holding £9k i started wining something every other month.Open question - how much money did you put in before you won anything?

Obviously, otherwise we'd all be millionaires on a £100 holding... but my sentence in full read "or you get your money back"."you are guaranteed to win £1m" is an incorrect statement!
If only that were true.
"Someone will ..." but "you" are most definatly NOT guaranteed to.
Many, many more will win zilch that £1m
