Totally over the top

It’s not over the top at all , it’s paying proper respect to the most loved & longest serving monarch your country has ever had . I think it’s completely the right decision. It’s also very handy for Btn to sort out a new manager etc and hopefully give him time to bed in . It’s a win win . Or a no brainer as we yanks say !

Along the lines that the Queen was a racist. I won't post the exact tweet. For people getting cancelled prior to the Funeral, Trevor is by far and away the Clubhouse leader.

Shamrock Rovers fans are well placed and I doubt they will have a minute silence at any Liverpool match...

Brighton factually.....
Not bothered they are all called off, we are still 4th and now could have a new manager in place who possibly will have got his new ideas through to the players by the next time we have a game. admittedly away at Liverpool in 23 days time, what a game to start your new career eh, that has the potential for fairy tale start, without a shadow of a doubt.

It's come at a good time for us in terms of finding a new manager and allowing the time to bed in but what an over the top reaction. What's wrong with a minutes silence/applause and why does everything have to come to a stand still? Ludicrous!

But you remember what happened the last time a reigning Monarch died?

Clearly not, unfortunately and as someone who sponsors a lot of youth sport I really feel for your under 12s, but this is the death of the greatest ever Briton, a one off in the history of the nation, sadly we have to go with what they dictate.

They didn't dictate it though but left it up to the EPL etc. They have decided that I can't go to watch football because an old lady died. Yes she was the Queen but to many she was just a figure head of the country. Greatest ever Briton to some, but mine was my mum.

Mrs Earle's flower arranging course on Tuesday afternoon has also been cancelled for the same reason. Where will it all end:facepalm:

A month without footie, would do the Albion well to arrange a couple of friendlies with USG...

USG are playing in their League and Europe

So many small local suppliers screwed over with this mass cancellation of things.

I know of one baker in Worthing with 450 donuts to sell because the BBC Good Food thing has been cancelled today

Here's to everyone else with a hotel booking which can't be cancelled now as it's too late, but going to Bournemouth for the weekend anyway. See you there... :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Bet she wished she had done it earlier, she could be making a fortune!

One of the last things my Nan told me to do the day she died was to make sure I went to the football and shout at them for her.

Complete overreaction. So many people losing out in a time when really it could be done without. Really poor IMO.

I remember England playing Moldova after Diana died as I was there.
