Ah, the agenda now seems clear.
I think it's even simpler than that. Loads of clubs who imagine they are now safe from relegation want to max up their income because why wouldn't hey? To do that they need the season to end so that Sky don't start asking for their money back. Some dimbot has thrown in the neutral stadium suggestion thinking this may be seen as a sweetner (with the OB or government, or whoever makes the final decision) that may reduce the number of supporters milling about outside (home, not away, as away is away, designated stadium or 'neutral', and any scouser prepared to schlep it to the Amex to mill about will do the same if the game is at Villa Park). Likewise the 30 minutes a half claptrap. Just 'outside the box' thinking wheezes, of no known value. The EPL, and the clubs with nothing to play for, like Bumly, are like someone jiggling their arse at a disco, hoping that someone will condescend to buy them a drink and later take them off somewhere for a shag.
Our Bumley chum is happy with that because it is no skin of his nose, no skin of Bumly's nose, and simply irrelevant 'whateverness'. I would feel the same in their boots, probably. Sod Brighton, let's get Brexit (sorry, the season) done, keep our money, keep our heads down and move on.
Meanwhile, any club at risk of relegation (you can guess the rest).
