They have to sort this out. Either just go with the linesman's call if there is overlap, or make the lines a foot-wide and there has to be daylight between them.

Christ the technology is so BAD. Watching the VAR guy draw the lines was like watching my daughter use MS Paint.

West Ham play Burnley back into form, it’s the Happy Hammers way.

The West Ham first 11 included:
Fornals £24m
Haller £45m
Anderson £42m
Diop £22m
Rice - London biased football writers rate him as £100m plus :lolol:

Played subs:
Yarmalenko 83 Ukraine caps
Lanzini Argentine international

You’ve got to love the PL for sometimes batting the cheque book approach into touch.

Something needs to change, these shouldn't be called offside IMO.

Sheff United equalise at Spurs, good, no more than they deserve having been cheated by VAR once

Why don't the PL implement VAR like the rest of Europe does and like FIFA did at the World Cup, with pitchside monitors? Why do they have to be different?

I have no issue with the concept of VAR, but the execution of it is just abysmal. There HAS to be a margin or error.

My thought is to have a line where the last defender is, but have a 30cm line either side where the decision the official makes, stays. A bit like cricket.
No, not 30cm either side. If the official thinks it's offside, but replay shows it's onside (no matter how close) then the goal should stand. And indeed that is like cricket - lbw isn't either side in cricket. If the ball is missing the wicket, then it's not out, no matter how close.

If there isn't 8 mins extra time in the Spurs game, 3 for subs 5 for VAR then it will just make this look like an even bigger joke.
