I honestly don't recall the same levels as this one, I may have missed it as not on social media as often as some, but I don't recall supposed unbiased journalists having a pop at Spurs for not scoring an OG or offering a replay after

Same as Fulham / Wolves earlier this season

Live game on TV? Plus Liverpool haven’t rolled over and had their tummy tickled.

If Spurs had been robbed of a 100% clear goal, a key goal, would you want Ange to fight your cause? Look at (adopted Spurs fan) Jenas last week, he went berserk that VAR’s killing the game, only backtracking to save his media career. I prefer managers and clubs that are candid when truly robbed, Potter types are doormats.

Weve had some dreadful calls over the years against Liverpool, so forgive me for having zero sympathy for Liverpool (unlike Brighton), including last year for the winner when Klopp told Mason to stop moaning about a head injury.... im assuming you know about his history.

JJ is right, it is killing the game, shame he didn't stick to his guns and more joined him they may finally bin VAR

Sure the club should stick up for themselves, but it's not going to change till they all work together.

I know you hate Liverpool and Scousers more than anything in the world 🙂 . I love the city, folk and have a lifetime soft spot for the club, Klopp is a great imho, I love his passion and chest beating ….. if I was a manager I’d be him or RDZ. I’ve been many, many times. This is just typical football fans stuff …. I can’t stand the London clubs and Manure.

Liverpool’s annoyance on the VAR fck up is in no way an attack on your club, the same with the media furore, no one is slagging off Spurs.

I don't hate Liverpool, I hate the club!

As to prove the point - Sky sports have an extended ref watch this morning just for the Liverpool game, did they do it with Brighton

That post will get a lot of likes on an Albion forum. The uniquely hard done by Albion theory.

People, as you said about clubs, need to unite about the incompetence of VAR in the PL. Whilst UEFA and FIFA officials from what I’ve seen are two levels above.

It seems Liverpool are going to request a replay.

haha. I was expecting this to be their stance. If the PL accede to a demand to start replaying matches in the wake of refereeing f*** ups (subjective or procedural) then the whole thing collapses into farce. We'll be deciding the title in courtrooms instead of on the pitch.

Entitled f***ing pricks.

Is it too late for us to replay our games at Palace and Spurs last year, then redraw all the Champions League groups and start this season from scratch.

Absolute knobs.

Maybe the FA can send a request to Argentina for the hand of god?

How about replay the Villa V Sheff United game with Hawkeye being off that saved Villa from relegation?

It won't happen of course, they are trying to put pressure on Spurs to do the apparent right thing, as if they would

Sporting integrity... like wearing shirts backing a racist in Suarez?

Under Wenger, Arsenal did the right thing when they scored a goal against Sheffield United in unfair circumstances.

I guess as a club that wins trophies regularly they can afford to be magnanimous though.

The thing with all this -and obviously fully understanding that it ABSOLUTELY should not have been possible for this to happen - is that fundamentally ALL that has happened is Liverpool had one goal incorrectly ruled out for offside.

Something that has happened a million times before in a million other games, pissing off a million clubs and a million sets of aggrieved fans.

By all means call out the incompetent clowns who have f***ed up again, and by all means campaign for changes to try to tighten up the flawed processes - but in the immediate term, they have no option but to suck it up like the rest of us.

Didn't Arsenal do something wrong for that in the first place? 😉
Yes, the wonderfully named Nwankwo Kanu latched onto the throw-in that was meant to go to Sheff Wed because they had kicked the ball out due to an Arsenal injury, and scored.
Nothing like the VAR error and it would be utter nonsense to replay the match.

Yeah - asking for a replay would also give valid ammo to those who feel like Liverpool have massive Main Character Syndrome...

Have this awful feeling we've kick-started Chelsea's season.
Come on Fulham!
