Did anyone else also spot Shearer in his pre-match interview replying that nothing's gone right for Sheffield United this season including being denied a goal at Villa due to a VAR error.

(which was last season)

That wasn’t anything to do with VAR either... goal line technology is separate.

How on earth are Sheffield United drawing at half-time with Leeds(everyone's second team tm)?

We were told Leeds are the best team ever to be promoted, I don't understand.

They done better than us to be fair, and we are in our 4th season in the top flight.

The throw in where Raphinio passed the ball out to the opposite side of the pitch" Simple but suberb"
You see 10 of them per game.

Like injured players get better the longer they are out, the commentators have had to wait 16 long long years to eulogise about the Champion’s Of Europe being back at the top table. Cut them some slack please

I'm not denying they have done well, it's the sycophantcy of commentators, pundits etc that is really pissing me off.
I even enjoy watching Leeds but they aren't a 'great' team.

Depends if they continue to finish mid-table or higher. Sheffield Utd would probably see our 3 (probably 4) seasons of survival as better than 1 very good season followed by relegation certainties by March.

McCoist “Leeds have got maximum points against the bottom 5”. Well, this could be an inaccurate statement, since I am sure we beat Leeds 0-1 away..: hmmm [emoji848]

Each counter attack was met with “this is brilliant...this is frightening” & then they ****ed it up. Beat the bottom of league side thanks to an own goal yet apparently they’re on Barcelona levels of attacking play.

Fair enough Leeds have done well, but you’d have thought they’d won the league with how the pundits were talking.

Usual poor refereeing standard in the Man City Leicester game. Anthony Taylor given two free kicks just because the player has gone down making a noise with minimal or no contact.

Are Leicester fans hitting their forums saying we’re giving Citheh too much respect? Boring, boring Leicester.
A fairly tedious half of football that was. At least Anthony Taylor tried to liven it up with a woeful decision or two.
