International football is dead. I was so bored of watching England and their dithering tactics. How dreary has the last fortnight been?

Welcome back, Premier League. We've missed you!

It really would open up fourth spot for West Ham and Tottenham and if West Brom win, they're seven points from safety. Their remaining games are pretty tough though. So I don't think we should worry at all if they pull off the huge shock. Newcastle would have cause to.

What, games like Chelsea away?

Wouldn't like to be the next team up at Stamford Bridge - suspect there will be some reaction to this. Someone's going to get a pasting.

This is why, every year, it isn’t league position that determines how difficult a fixture is. Our run in on paper is tough, but at the business end with Europe, cups and internationals, even the strongest squads are stretched.

:moo::albion2:

Joking aside, same could be said after Liverpool lost to us, or when Spurs came to us both this and last season. Will be a huge knock to Chelsea’s confidence that.

Chelsea were lucky to get a draw at West Brom.

8 of West Brom's 21 points came against Chelsea and another team, who's name escapes me.

Of course people were saying the same thing after Burnley became the 1st away team to win at anfield since Sky invented football, and that turned out OK :albion:

Edit: see others have made this point already - should read the whole thread before replying!

The sending off played a crucial part to arguably their most influential player. I don't know what odds you would have got on a WBA win from a goal down but it may have paid for Easter!

I'm not a betting man but I imagine that's busted a few coupons for the weekend in the PL.

Well done, Big Sam. A job sensationally achieved this afternoon. West Ham for the Champions League? :)

Jake Humphrey just signed off by saying that Brighton won’t have enjoyed that result (West Brom). I’m usually he most pessimistic of fans but I can honestly say I am not watching WBA’s results, there is no way they are catching us. I think that Humphrey is just so bitter about that tweet which has haunted him for years. He’s such a ****

He's a silly man. Newcastle, for instance, will have enjoyed it much less.
