They are just so, so slow and aren’t doing the basics (namely effort, competing physically). They gave away the softest the opening goals, completely free header from a corner, and their heads immediately dropped. They look bereft of confidence but really aren’t helping themselves with such lethargic play. If they turned out a performance like this against better opposition, they could easily go for 8-9 again.

I was literally just thinking the same thing. I dislike Palace for obvious reasons, by my dislike for Newcastle blows that out of the water.
And the two sets of the world's greatest supporters are strangely very quiet.
