This Amadou Onana guy looks like a crazy good signing for Everton.

I've got such a dislike of Pickford.

His existence winds me up and I don't quite understand why.

I've always struggled with him looking a bit like Swedish kids show character Doktor Kosmos

And Maupay should have scored! Where have I heard that before?

BBC: "Neal Maupay forces a good save from Alisson and three really good saves from Jordan Pickford at the other end."

Which way is he kicking, for goodness sake?

Everton pretty impressive IMO.

Maupay may have missed a chance or two but looks every bit as dangerous as those £100m players Pool got up front.

Meanwhile, in the MTL, Rangers' keeper just had a special moment at Celtic.

The stuff of legend.

I'm sure clips will be available soon.

I have more interest in a League 2 game. The hype around Celtic and Rangers is laughable, it really does register as zero on my give a ****ometer

We’ve got a chance to do really well this year. Over the summer I felt a bit fearful with so many squads seemingly improving but the quality so far, apart from a couple of teams, really is nothing to be worried about. If we can develop some kind of form at home and keep key players fit there’s no reason why we can’t compete for a European place. Ludicrous really.

What’s everyone’s pick of the 3pm games to watch? Really can’t decide. I’m currently leaning towards Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth
