‘Alledged’ drinking culture!

We do have a severe lack of personality in the dressing from now! Seems to reflect the man in charge!

I couldn't comment as I've never been in the dressing room, or spent any time with the man in charge.

Dunk, Webster, Lallana all leaders / strong characters.

Losing Duffy, Murray & Stephens is hardly the root of your problems

The way West Brom have defended and the depth they’ve defended at is probably the deepest I’ve ever seen a team defend, fair play to them though you could smell the equaliser coming the longer the game went on.

I’m worried at this point about relegation based on what I’m seeing from our relegation rivals, don’t get me wrong I think we have better footballers than them but I’m seeing a lot of teams in a relegation battle that look like Burnley clones.

Agreed - embarrassing, especially as Billic got a draw vs Man City to

Allardyce does it again.

Knows how to get results, never write them off. With January spending, they have a good chance of climbing the league.

Opponents cannot cope with chaos in the box from giants.

I'm increasingly getting the feeling that our time is up this time round.

I may be proved wrong, but I see us dropping into the relegation zone over the next game or two. Once we drop in, I just can't see us climbing out again.

West Brom will become a tough nut to crack now and will start grinding out results. Fulham are a far better team now than at the beginning of the season. Burnley are Burnley. Above us, arsenal will obviously pull away. Palace and Newcastle will grind out enough points as per, and Leeds already half way to 40 - probably only need 17/18 more points. Not looking good for us imo, and this isn't me 'wetting the bed' or whatever as some will see it as; just looking at it objectively. I don't see where enough wins are coming from. Even when we play well and create enough, we don't win.

I wonder what excuse Stropp will come out with tonight?

"The players, they are a good group, but we play almost the latest we can. It destroyed all our momentum from last week's 7-0 win over Crystal Palarse, blah, blah, blah. It isn't fair." :bla:

A question for NSC'ers, if you had to pick between:

a) Potter's admirable football, but always a great chance of being mugged.
b) Allardyce/Pulis's ceding of possession, but long throws, time wasting, relentless aireal balls into the mixer.

Which would you pick?

I still opt for (a).

We've got no fight, no spirit, no desire. Meanwhile west Brom have got points away to City and Liverpool.

Rubbish. We never caved when West Ham equalised, we went out and regained the lead.

You can accuse us of being too nice, of lacking ability up front or organisation in defence but the attitude remains good.

Same, although potter's style isn't very entertaining either at the moment tbh what with how predictable we are, so...

I've said to my son before that if TB appointed Pulis, I'd look into having a very long break from going to games. As I can't stand his brand of football, allied to him being an obnoxious tosser.
