Well that’s the title race over now, isn’t it?

Race for Europe is hotting up nicely though

The game in which they absolutely pounded city proved Haaland was right.

Mocking a team that has won everything in past couple of seasons 🤣

Being mouthy in September, after years of hurt, was moronic. Football of all sports has so many twists and turns.

Is it an Arse trait? All the plastics around here are cocky, ultra cocky in the Arteta era. All the Spurs fans I know and have known were grounded.

Yep, anything from 3rd downwards to aim for.
Any of the clubs between 3rd and 10th could conceivably finish anywhere in that mini table

Not forgetting the late burst from guaranteed European qualifiers Crystal Palace

If their final ten opponents roll over for them while distracted by the prospect of cocktails and bikini clad lovelies in Miami, as happened last season, they may yet mount a challenge for top three.

IF we happened to beat Bmuff, how optimistic would you be on us making 8th or better?
Still a long way to go, but I think I’d start to fancy our chances

Liverpool and Arsenal guaranteed Europe.

Even if Forest start to run out of steam, I still think they’ll take a European slot.

So say 4th to 11th are fighting for those final places - City, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Villa, us, Fulham and Brentford. With the likes of City - even with recent travails - extremely unlikely to miss out in the end, really.

But then you’re right - Palace are definitely getting Europe this season, because they all told us so at the start of the season. So they’re about to leapfrog everybody. Soon. I guess. Does anyone know when their nailed-on charge to Europe is due?

So it’s even tighter than it looks.

They have Ipswich, Southampton and us in their next three games. Could be 9 points!

Absolutely correct decision. The nearest defender was on the other side of the pitch and David Raya was nearly in the centre circle. If Kudus had shot from there, he'd have had an empty net to aim at.
absolute rubbish. The professional foul came into football law after the Koeman / Platt incident in 93 where the defender intentionally fouled the forward knowing the attacker would be clean through on goal and the defender knew he would only be handed a yellow. These days the rule is being completely misinterpreted as, yesterday's case in point, the foul actually started in the attacker's own half. Regardless of where other players are situated on the pitch there is absolutely no conceivable way you can be in an "obvious" goalscoring position in your own half of the pitch or half way line. And how can one deduce the defender is deliberately fouling the foward as he feels it "obvious" he will go on and score when the attacker hasn't even crossed the half way line?

Down to us to get in to a Europa chance spot now, with the title done hopefully Liverpool in the CL will mean they'll play their kids when they visit in May.
I doubt they will against us which is a compliment in itself. City never go easy on us and I don’t expect Liverpool to either.
