There's a few like that. We HAVE to want West Brom and Stoke to win, don't we?

The bottom three could be nicely adrift come Sunday evening.

Saturday at The Amex will be a great occasion. Hope we can play something like we did against Man Utd and maybe nick a result...

Looking at the table and other fixtures, unless we get a pretty unlikely win, we will probably drift down another couple of places.

I think that 12th is the absolute highest we can realistically achieve come the end of this season. Burnley, Watford, Leicester, Southampton and Everton for starters WILL finish above us. IMO 12th-14th is roughly 50/50 chance with 15th-17th and obviously either outcome would be highly acceptable.

Er... you'll need to give me a bit of time to think about that one.

Well it's always nice to see Palace lose, but rivalry aside that's a tough result to choose, with West Brom also being a prime candidate for relegation. Similar with Stoke vs Swansea - we certainly don't want a Swansea win, but draw could be nice - let Swansea keep their manager and neither team getting 3 points.

Everton however, I shall be cheering on with confidence.

The reason I said that is there often seems to be a "want a draw so they both lose points" mentality to some of these sort of games.
:) Yes but there are exceptions...

As the season wears on it becomes more important to back the winner. Fairly obvious who the suspects are going to be and the one that surprises me is West Ham, but they are definitely now a loss and not a draw

Away at Man City. You know I fancy them to get something up there, don't know why, just do. And if they do it will be a springboard to moving up the league.

I doubt even the most optimistic of them would agree

I'm not sure they'll get a point in the next 4, if so they will be fighting relegation to the end I suspect

Everton win (I want Hudds to drop like a stone), Swansea and West Ham defeats and anything but a Palace win please (although even that wouldn't be a disaster as I can see West Brom getting mired)

They have picked up further injuries. Basically no strikers or centre backs.

Would be great to get the bottom 3 adrift. I want us to pick up enough points this month so we feel we can have a proper go in the FACup. I'm sure if we draw a lower league team we will give the squad a game, but I'd like to think we could play a strong team if we draw another PL club.

Oh I'm sure. I just have a feeling. Probably just an itch.

If they get obliterated I see nothing but relegation for them. But at some point the quality in their squad (if they have any) will come out, and that will be against one of the big 6, because that's the kind of game under-performing players suddenly decide to show what they can do. Like I say, if it turns out there is no quality there, then they are screwed, but have West Ham become that bad so soon?
