Great reaction from the players I have to say. They realised something was happening and just hope the quickness it was realised will save a life.

Yup. Credit to them.

No idea how I should feel about NUFC fans, Sky Sports and their mothers suddenly pretending to give a shit about human life. Just adds to the incredibly weirdness of the whole situation.

Obviously I hope the individual will be okay but it is all so very... odd.

She was heavily tied into Barclays when I was there during the financial crisis in 2008, she sued the bank for damages and lost. Almost ruined one of my old bosses.

Seeing her celebrate the Newcastle opener was sickening - not a toon fan, no interest in football. You’re 100% right, all about the money.

I so hope they crash and burn. They could be adrift with Norwich by the time the window opens, then bring in a few overpriced mercenaries with no clear strategy. Could be fun to watch.

I wonder if any top players will make a stand and refuse to sign for them. Forlorn hope I suppose. Kane would seem to be an obvious target imo

The players they want will already be on obscene wages…gonna be interesting to watch unfold

Think they’ll struggle in January regardless…..which means a real struggle this season. Why would Kane go there now ? No chance of European football next season.

1-3. Tee hee. :D

I wonder if the interview will include 'do you mind that our new owners murder and then dismember people who they disagree with?'

There's nothing political about a fan at the game and those there and watching wishing them the best. That's not odd

Some players defintely wouldn't. I'm sure of it.
Rashford, obviously. There's plenty of players who give a shit and plenty of other teams around to pay them millions.

You'd also assume any player who is gay and not out would have some reservations about signing from them too.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if that's how we got the first openly gay player - "I said no to Newcastle because I'm gay" would be one hell of a headline.

The LGBTQ Newcastle Supporters club are supportive of the takeover. Which is odd.

Just got back from a long drive listening to 5 live fawning was making me feel sick. Saying that some of the toon fans were conflicted. I would not be conflicted if this was Brighton, I would have protested for this not to happen and protested and not gone if it went through.
Their owners go against everything I believe in and I would fight with all my being to keep them away from my club.

I hope they lose every single game and sink lower then they have ever been. They’ve sold their soul.

It appears the half-time show has been cancelled because of the medical emergency. The word was that they were going to strangle and dismember Bruce, stone a couple of gay fans and then demonsrate female genital mutilation on a schoolgirl volunteer.
