Ug, first on. It's a bit like when we used to always bowl first after winning the toss. As a bowler I much preferred batting first. Save the best bit till last.

Sky are taking the piss. How many neutrals are going to go out of their way to watch the festival of antifootball in tomorrow's second live game? Home team to win by a solitary counter attacking goal. Pigford hoofing all match long.

The second live game on Sunday is not much more appealing.

Oh well, plenty loads of cards and niggling injuries in both games it is then.

Palace v Everton has "obligation game" written all over it, doesn't it?

Another annoyingly easy win for Palace. Everton's recent mini revival will come crashing to a halt now their only decent striker is injured (the one who tearily left the pitch, without flapping his wings, on Tuesday night).

Villa have a probable gimme, so we really need three points tonight to stay remotely in touch with that 8th-place spot which is the likely qualification for Europe.

Some say that's a dream, it's over for this season and we don't deserve it because of the points we've chucked away, but it is still achievable, so we need to try and stat connected to the race for as long as we can.

Arsenal seem to have an uncanny ability to get themselves offside against Leicester. I seem to recall they had similar issues against us. It's ridiculous, especially from somebody as experienced as Raheem Sterling.

I blame Joel Veltman, naturally.

This Leicester Arsenal game is a snooze fest. TNT Sports can certainly pick them.
Wait until you see what the TV bigwigs have selected for the 5:30pm game 😲
