Delph off for Everton. Red card rescinded for Joel Ward thanks to VAR (ref went to the monitor to review himself).

Palace, Watford and Villa beaten. Pity about another three points for Bournemouth. At least we didn't lose, and in a must-win game for West Ham they didn't. And Southampton rightly got skinned at Anfield too. Newcastle and Norwich both failed to get three points.

Almost a very good day for us. Still 15th. too.

"It's well over, it's not even close"

The video in that tweet isn't showing for me. If you click on the tweet it'll take you to the page where you should be able to Guaita catch the ball from a corner then step into his goal with it. It's funny.

I also had a chuckle watching the ref reversing the red card in the Sheff Utd game yesterday. As he ran past Dibley, to convert red to yellow, Dibley just had to hold his arms out in his victimly way. Its as if he's been programmed to do that whenever the ref might have to make a decision.

Burnley playing their usual horrible style of football and their fans angrier than ever booing anything that moves. It’s a real shame it looks like they’ll survive again.

Well that's different. Aguero challenged in the box, kinda from behind, Dean says no foul, they play on for a couple of minutes without the ball going out of play, game gets stopped and the penalty given. Penalty saved. Sterling on the follow up goes down then has a shoving match with Lloris over whether it was a dive. Gotta say, looks to me like Lloris misses the ball, and catches Sterling, but Sterling made a meal of it, could have gone either way.

Kevin Friend, fresh from being determined not to award any decisions against the big names of Liverpool yesterday despite two huge moments that clearly should have gone against them, is back as VAR today and showing he’s not going to send Sterling off regardless of what he does.

If ever there was a ref who is desperate to suck up to the top teams it’s him.

MOTD showed his incompetence in NOT awarding stonewall pens to Firmino and Ings, plus they wondered why the hopeless VAR official didn’t flag them as clear and obvious errors.
