I put 5 but EPL is all over the place this season. I buoy myself with the thought our squad cost a fraction of City & Utd's, our squad is paid a fraction of City & Utd's & they are both really crap at the moment.

8 - and here's why.....

On the pitch - We're building a ridiculous collection of young players.
We've been nowhere near as bad as our recent results might suggest. We've dominated games for long periods (Fulham, Leicester, WHU) and not got what we've deserved. Also when it clicks it really clicks. We seem to be in one of those football spells where every mistake is ending up with an oppo goal and we're missing chances and the chance to create a chance, either through bad luck or bad decisions. We also have key experienced players out, which might be a link.

Off the pitch - Tony doesn't show any signs of 'sticking' anytime soon. The club moves from strength to stength. I reckon privately our board must be f***ing livid with Southern Fail, it is the only (big) negative on a home match day, and the one thing they can do little about.
Totally agree with all of that. I’ve been at nearly all of the recent games and it’s really only Palace that I thought outplayed us. For most fans, unfortunately, this is the one match that matters so the pain is greater than it should be.

Like you, I’m optimistic. We’ve had plenty of great results and performances this season, and shouldn’t allow the inevitable blip to distract us from the bigger picture. Im confident the disappointing run will end tonight and help send us into a couple of tough matches v Villa and Arsenal in the right frame of mind.

And even if we don’t win tonight, I’ll still be upbeat about the general progress of the club. People need to step back from time to time and think about where we’ve been and where we are now.

Mine a 6/7 but mine is affected by the travel to and from games. Based on where I live in Kent we have a 3/4 hour round trip interrupted by one and half hour of football. Its bearable if the game is good and we play well but if not it feels like wasted time. Perhaps I have just been doing this for too long. First game was 1974. I am already considering whether to renew in March.

Good points. I do wish we would sign experienced players who aren’t serial sick notes though

My Albion mojo is pretty much straight down the middle. Could be better. Could be worse. But my EPL mojo is actually pretty strong. It's an enjoyable season. Stuff is up in the air. Citeh's implosion is raising a small and it's good to see Forest and Bournemouth up there, sticking it to the bigger boys, even if that does complicate matters for us.
