Fulham would suit him. Sunderland would be a one way trip to the championship. We would however be at high risk of losing some key players to his new side in the next transfer window.

Poyet has Championship record- play offs. Di Canio did not get that far.

Still no premiership experience though. There is a big difference between the leagues.

He might not play the most attractive style but he can sure as hell organise a team to stop them leaking goals...

I think these odds were given before Di Canio was booted. They seem to have odds for all teams in the Premier League.

I think it's a reasonable possibility. Gus may have been a tad moody at times but he was no mad villainous type like Di Canio. His slightly-smothered ego would re-emerge with a good run in charge again for a spell and funds that wouldn't match his ambition and wish for guaranteed glory, but i think his ball-playing ethos would charm a good number of their fans just as it rightly did us. Tough to beat and looking to outdo oppositions in possession percentages wouldn't be bad for a side horrendously unsettled by the doings of its now-departed extremist.

I agree that he would be good for a struggling Prem side and make them hard to beat, and there aren't really that many good unemployed managers out there to chose from.

The first Prem side to lose their manager will probaly get Poyet in, if only in an emergency season long temporary role.

With all the TV he has been doing his sacking hasn't done him any harm, it's not like anyone won't touch him with a barge pole.

Anyway I'm hoping he we get his Prem job so I can judge him on that rather than what he did here, and I hope we meet his future club in the FA Cup this season and smash them.
