Bridcutt. Quite simply the whole team style of play is dictated around his ability to play the role as well as he does. His cheap signing therefore set in stall the team we have now. I still thinK England will regret not getting him picked ahead of Scotland. Will get 50+ caps for Scotland if he is played in the role he does for us.

Bridcutt but honorable mention must to go Kishishev who I think helped no end in developing Bridcutt

Bridcutt and Kuszczak are the two outstanding but they are both very different. Bridcutt was an unknown so its a great signing because Gus saw the potential. However, I dont think anyone thought we would ever get Kuszczak (or Bridge or Upson for that matter) but we did. So just on Gus it might be Bridcutt for seeing the potential but as an outstanding signing to get Kuszczak here the whole club should be very proud how its worked out. The one player we REALLY can't do without is PIG.

It should be Bridcutt, but it's Ulloa.

I've (we've) already seen enough of him to know not only is he equal to the class of Bridders, he is in the more valuable area of the pitch.

Irrespective where we end up this season, next season will be Ulloa's last with us.

Bridcutt is by far our greatest bargain, but i tend to think that Ulloa wins this one as the hunt was long and the prize lioine and epic. Bridders handed himself to us on a plate and we were lucky other teams turned down his potential.

I voted Bridcutt, it has to be, but with a slight reservation in that it wasn't a clean, decisive signing; Liam initially got 3 months, extended to 6, extended to the end of the season. I guess you could say that he grew into his role and Gus helped nurture him but in terms of just going out and making a quality signing that made an impact from Day 1, I'd go for Calde or PiG.

Would we have those wonderful memories of our first game at the Amex, winning from a losing position without the wonderful Buckley? Shame about the injuries, but as a player, he is masterful at getting wonder goals.
