I've seen a bit. It really is monkey tennis. Lots of fast running about and 1990s style assaults (sorry, I meant tackles).

Potter has had nearly 2 seasons with us and we are still a work in progress.
Would Celtic give him that much time? I doubt it.

The obvious point is it’d be a career step down. PL is arguably the best league in the world. SPL. Well. It’s not really is it?
Also he’s blessed with a perfect club for him here with a supportive owner, a conveyer belt of talent, and starting to build something. It’s a lot to leave and he’d want to see the fruits of his labours.
I do think there’s a chance he’ll leave for a “big job” one day. I’m willing to bet that will be England, or outside bet a Man Utd. I genuinely think he’s that good.

Absolutely no chance. He'd command a kings ransom (which they haven't got), and is FAR too big a name to consider dropping down to the Highlands Premier.
Someone like Steve Clarke might get a bit of traction, if he's allowed to take over after the Euros. Failing that, maybe Rod Stewart.

I'm not sure he's suited to the brief periods of contact that go with being an international manager.
I also don't think the England job, or any international job for that matter, is considered a step up from a Premier League job nowadays.

It seems from the Celtic message board they're demanding a big name, Benitez, AVB and Mourinho feature prominently.
It would be hard not to feel some sympathy for Lennon, a Celtic legend who has done a superb job as a player and a manager but where many 'factors' have worked against him and the club.
We have experienced a difficult season due to so many factors and it is very frustrating and disappointing that we have not been able to hit the same heights as we did previously," Lennon said.
"I have worked as hard as ever to try and turn things around, but unfortunately we have not managed to get the kind of run going that we have needed.

For all those saying he'd never go to Celtic, i think you're looking through Albion tinted specs. Being a football manager is his job. It's how he earns his money. If another company came in and offered him double his wages, of course he'd swap jobs. 99% of the population of this country would do the same. Why do football fans of clubs think that 'their' personnel would be more interested in 'the project' etc rather than cash in the bank.
Reminds me of when people say things like why would 'x' player want yo go and live in Burnley etc over Brighton, it's a shit hole.... not realising that most Burnley players live in Hale Barns the most affluent area in Manchester/Cheshire.
