Yes, I too remember all those wonderful seasons In the top ten with those two in charge, and no measly 9th. Place for those gentlemen either, eh? The cult of denying and denigrating Potter's achievements really does wander up some strange alleyways in a bid to claim credibility!If we’re going full retro, why not Alan Mullery or Chris Hughton - both available and far more successful for us than Potter.

Nut shell.Notwithstanding that events have moved on in the last couple of days (record profits, Barber contract, Liverpool cooling interest in Roberto, he giving a far more upbeat press conference) I think the vast majority of fans:
1) Still love Roberto.
2) Don't want Potter back after the Chelsea incident.
3) Always wished Bloom had offered Murray a decent contract rather than push him towards Palace.
I think we play shit nearly every week. This is our league goal median this season counting from the wake up against Birmingham. 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5. In 15 out of 21 games I see us score nothing or once. Was it more funny in cups yes for a bit then we threw all the cups first chance possible. Maybe Im not right kind of connosseur but not having much fun at all most times watching us though love the stomps as much as anyone. Should Potter be the solution. No but we can do lot better than we are. Were not playing exciting football. Sorry for rantI am astonished by what I am reading on NSC at the moment. We are playing the most exciting football I have ever seen with some amazing young attacking players and some posters are calling for more pragmatism, a return to Potter and a call for us to aim for avoiding relegation.
I feel confident the club are going to show more ambition that some of our supporters. Thank f*** for that!!
