Yes, I saw that in the week. Weird and not a good habit.
It’s like he’s trying to be someone he isn’t, bit like the glow up.

The newly acquired habit of spitting on the sidelines says it all, really.

Without going all Swansman on you, he spat all the time at Brighton too. People are free to dislike him but at this point people are just making up reasons.

Chelsea made some good acquisitions in January, showing signs of a plan - younger players were signed (and admittedly they overpaid) and I think I read somewhere that they're not being paid the sort of wages Chelsea paid in the past. A good clear out of the dead wood, the free loaders and the bad apples in the summer and the plan may become more evident, a young team developing and being developed - and actually in a way I'd quite like that too; all those armchair expert Chelsea fans claiming they knew better being shown that they knew sweet FA.

I don't care either way how it pans out for Potter but the self entitled Chavs only need to look at one person for this almighty balls up they find themselves in! Boehly...comes in, throws wads of cash about and expects Potter and his team to keep 40 odd players happy!...it was never going to end well. Imo Dortmund will be Potters final game. We are lucky that we have DeZerbi and he has moved us on from Potterball but his big test will come this Summer, we will probably lose MC, AM and AL with JM hopefully fully fit. He will have funds to bring in hopefully 1/2 expeirenced players who will help our younger players kick on. I have every faith in DeZerbi and trust TB judgement. Chelsea fans...your Man Boehly doesn't understand soccer...Potter does..but you are obviously too thick to understand!

Graham is a manager who needs a pre-season to get the most out of his ideas. The players need to know and understand each other on and off the pitch to be able to play the fluid and mobile way he wants his teams to play. They need to go and get drunk together, do some teambuilding, work with ideas in a calm environment.

If Graham can survive the season in Chelsea, they will be very strong with GP in charge next year. But I struggle to see him remain in the job for more than another few weeks. After that I think he'll have a long, nice vacation and come back stronger and take charge of some "fallen giant" like Aston Villa, West Ham or similar.

Funny you say that our group were discussing at the game on Sat where he may end up after this and we all agreed West Ham or Leicester if they have another poor turn in form.

The longer they carry on with him the better I reckon. A new manager will get them winning in no time and make it tougher for us to get into Europe.

With regards to his next job that others have mentioned, I’m not sure it’ll be so easy to walk into clubs like Villa or West Ham. He’d have been well-received straight from us but, rightly or wrongly, his record at Chelsea will have an impact on his wider reputation. He’ll need to start strongly wherever he goes next or fans (and players) will very quickly be on his back. For all that some here think he’s being harshly treated, his results at Chelsea have been abysmal given the talent at his disposal. Pretty much any club in the division would be thinking hard about whether to get rid right now - let alone one that’s been spoilt by decades of buying success.

I wouldn’t rule him out for Leeds; they rate him very highly there.
