Thanks a lot.

What do you expect? Someone has a genuine opinion and backs it up with the fact of one home win in a year.

6 changes for the Arsenal and 5 changes for today. How the fúck are the players supposed to deal with that.

Stick to debate and not stupid aggression. Was that first half good today? Yes the 2nd half was good but why always when we are chasing the game.

Potter in, I disagree with some of his picks and decisions and I would like to see some other plays but overall I don't think our players are good enough.

Potter on Burn

“Traore is one of the hardest players in world football to defend against. A couple of years ago Burn was in League One at Wigan. Rather than be critical, we should be proud of him”

I’m not critical of Burn, I’m critical of Potter for picking him when he’s been out of his depth in matches and shouldn’t have started tonight. We have better players for that position. And to switch March across and leave Burn in effect alone vs Traore is indefensible.

We need to buy an experienced, high quality goalkeeper. Sanchez is decent but think that he lacks experience and confidence.
On the Potter front, prefer the suit/ coat combo. It's in for me at present but he needs to get a win or two quickly to build confidence in the team.
Thought the Bissouma substitution today was spot on and the second half display shows he hasn't lost the players.

I love WA. I have no idea why he is such an Albion fan as he played for traditionally bigger clubs than us but he wears his heart on his sleeve and having chatted with him he is a really nice guy

Just guessing, perhaps the club (last 2 regimes) and the good people of Sussex were empathetic and helpful to WA during his troubles? Imho always a more enlightened part of the world.

Harty had warm words for his pal, post match.

Totally disagree re Sanchez! He is good enough to have a run in the side and how does he get PL experience without playing. A lot of other areas to spend £mils on! Sanchez is just starting on his PL career and will make the odd error but is still a better bet than Ryan or a Manchester United 3rd choice keeper for £25 mil.

The basics of any manager is organising a defence, Potter has shown he can’t do it. Serially. Bring in a manager who can do this, and our chances of winning our current dogfight with Fulham to stay up will massively improve. Any team that has Biss organising the midfield and a goalscorer in Maupay shouldn’t be in this position. Out now and give the new guy the best possible chance to work with our current resources

Even with a defeat it would still have been in

In some ways, yes they do have better players. Leeds have several players who can reliably strike a ball. Villa have Grealish.

But it's not that simple anyway. We are absolutely revolutionising the way we play... for the better. Too many of the players are just not good enough to play the way we aspire to play.

Those players will go. Just like others have. We are unlikely to be convincing this season, although we will stay up. Best things will come to those who wait, as dead wood goes and the Potter revolution enters its next chapter.

Out of interest, specifically, which players are not good enough?

Compare the polls over the last few days.....fickle, fickle, fickle fanbase.

Or is it? ???

This comment is useless without a poll.

I'm still in, after a little bit of dummy spitting during the game, but if we don't get something up at the emptyhad, I could well be throwing myself to the floor and having a childish spat

I see he is now third favourite for the chop behind Chris Wilder and Roy. He is now 4 to 1, having been 16 to 1 before today's game. Is something in the offing ?

No. It's just the after-effect of some of our 'support' piling in large at half time.

Either that or it's Smugeddie incoming.

(Imagine the scenes :lolol:)

I thought we were fine in the first half other than a handful of individual defensive errors. Dunk, White, Burn & Sanchez all played their part, they keep letting their team and manager down.

Stats are bad but I was calling out a hypocrite who had stated many times that he could cope with relegation if we were playing an attacking attractive style creating chances. He has stated that he does not think we play that way. Make of that what you will, he only posts when we are in a bad run of form.

Getting in before the game is over to avert someone posting a non public poll

**** off Fence too, make a choice!

Poll done in haste please can a mod change our to out on the poll please?

You missed a trick by posting the 83rd Potter in/out thread in the last few days. To get everyone even more enthused in the process you should have gone with the 'When does Bloom pull the trigger on Potter'. You could have had far more options from this evening to never.

Sanchez may well have a good future ahead of him, but I’d seriously doubt* he’s better than Sergio Romero who is the most capped Argentine goalkeeper of all time.

*right now and in the immediate future.
