Burn probably did enough in training to warrant a place in the team. Potter doesn't have crystal ball, but if he did he absolutely wouldn't have picked him.

That was a lot better second half, actually some grit and determination even Propper getting stuck in.

Clearly a bollocking at HT based on how we started.

I would like to see a back three of Webster RCB, Dunk and white LCB, it works.

BDB unfortunately like Ryan isn’t up to it and I expect potter to start being more ruthless on individual poor performances.

Spot on my friend. People are saying Potter will need a crystal ball to predict Burn will play so poorly, did they not watch the Leicester game where he was embarrassed by a pacy wing-back? He had an absolute stinker and I hope we don't see him in a Brighton shirt again.

Selecting Burn was a mistake by Potter. Not nearly as big a mistake than the ref made in calling Trossard out for a foul when he was in on goal.

Hughton was dreadful for 18 months, Potter is heading there rapidly. When my trip to The Albion started around 9am and I was getting home around 9pm my decision to stop going was an easy one.

I'm still Potter out, even though I'm obviously delighted that we came away with a point after the position we were in at half-time. In that light it's certainly a point gained, but it's another game without a win. We've shown again that we have fight, but that winning instinct is lacking and for that reason I can't see where our next 3 points is going to come from, and ultimately we need quite a few of those to push on/stay up.

Odd game, because in many ways it was the most exciting and interesting I've seen from Albion since the Liverpool game. However, it was also utterly deflating how easily we let three goals in during one half of football.

So you’re saying we’re at peak in terms of players that we have? Are we saying teams like Villa, Leeds have better teams/squads?

Not sure a crystal ball is needed - it’s happened time and time again. I’m not sure anyone in their right mind would feel Burn would win that duel.
