Southgate,
Coppell,
Clough, soon to looking for a new job?
Barnes,
Wilkins,
Taylor,
Should the team lose the next two home games then it has to be bye bye Russell, which would be a great shame but there is no room for seniment in football.

Coppell or Curbishley. Or maybe Tisdale from Exeter. But preferably one of the first two, no point changing if we're not going to bring in top quality.

There may not be room for seniment but there is room for a long term plan.

Does Slade now fit into Bloom's long term Albion plan? A large squad, as frequently pointed out, made up of players who are unlikely to take BH&A into the championship judging them on current form is not the long term plan Albion fans want. The first half performance against Gillingham looked good going forward but still shakey at the back and against a top team, Leeds, Charlton or Southampton, another home defeat. Fingers crossed for Saturday and beyond.

The answer, apparently, is yes.

So your original question is probably academic.

Why oh why are you lot inventing these threads about Slade? He is the choice as manager, do not think any of the above would come to us,let's be patient and stick with him. Events over the last 24 hours at Middlesborough and before that at Notts. Co. illustrate that success is no guarantee to keeping your job.
Mind you, if we move on to coaching staff, then that's a whole new ball game (no pun intended ! )

Not that I want Slade gone, but I think we should have ambition. Somebody with a UEFA A Licence...

These sorts of threads sicken me, Russell is very much still in the job and has the full support of the board, why don't you guys give him your full support as well rather than searching for replacements.

In any case, mark my words, we will not lose our next two home games.

If and only if we are getting a new manager...weve timed it a little wrong manager wise.

A couple of months ago...there was quality managers available all over the show...i.e Pardew, Boothroyd, Ince.

Now were left with the dregs........Although saying that...Iwould be happy if Coppell came back. A good proven manager. Just not convinced he would want to manage at league one level again. He is too good for this league.

i really dont see any of them coming here, either on dont go back reason or we just arent the right end of the country for them. Curbishly isnt likly to come down to our level.

Hope Powell... not a altogether bad, but risky gambit.

EX player currently with the club has advised that he has 2 games to save himself....hopefully he will
