EX player currently with the club has advised that he has 2 games to save himself....hopefully he will

I hope we win the next two games but if not Slade Will have to go. Only three wins so far this season, an unsettled team, summer signings that don't seem to be able to gell, £150,000 spent on a non league player who previously failed at two league clubs and now spends most of his time injured and a continuation in form from pre season friendlies. I like Russell Slade and hope he can turn the situation around but time s running out

If you believe everything you read on here Slade's coffin is clearly shut tight with a few hundred nails thrown in for good measure.

So the good news is we'll have a new manager by the end of the month, followed by a chaotic and destabilising few weeks/months while he clears out all of Slade's players.

Given the likelihood that his replacement will not send the team hurtling up the table, rumblings will no doubt start to appear on here and in other dens of dissatisfaction, and soon we'll all be on their back and filling this site with more rubbish about who will be the next white Knight to send the seagulls to the promised land...

Ok this season has been far from fulfilling the high expectations that are always placed upon the team, but we are improving, if still inconsistent. Clearly there are problems with discipline and pulling off a 90 minute performance. But I refuse to think about a replacement for Slade until I have to.

Narrows it down a bit to about 3 or 4 people , Butters Cullip Oatway and Watson , in alphabetical order.

If he is right I sincerely hope that they are not considering Mike Newell.

I'll ask Charlie about that on Sunday afternoon, he's down to play a charity game at the Crouch Seaford at 2 pm , along with Russell Slade! And so is Cullip and probably Butters as well....could be interesting if that story has reached Russell's ears. Or maybe he's on NSC....
