Red, by Trans. A band Bernard Butler formed with Jackie McKeown in about 2012/13.
Qualifies for this on two counts:
1. They played in Bristol in a tiny venue when I was a student, and it was the BEST GIG EVER [may not literally have been the best gig ever].
2. It's the only EP I actually own.

Their first four EPs are about as good as it gets, for me. Just got the remastered Nowhere vinyl as only had it on CD; it's excellent!

The remastered stuff sounds brilliant. I got The 4 eps (this prompted the thread) and Going Blank Again. Also went to see them last week.

The most underrated band. Today Forever is their peak for me though.

Nirvana - Hormoaning - only released in Australia and Japan, and 4 of the 6 tracks are covers, but each of these songs is a peach (especially Aneurysm, my favourite Nirvana song).
