Strangely the first that I or my Belgian wife has heard of her I'm afraid.

she's very famous in France, now moved to Canada I think

most people actually think she is French, but she was born in Belgium

I can't find it, but it is a jolly little number called le/la picarde. Any clues?

And i'm all over the Jane Birkin one. It was filmed in Southwick though, not Brighton.

A couple of covers that I like.

Bjork covering the Fool On the Hill (aged 11)

and Usha Ushup with Chhupke Kaun Aya an Indian version of Michael Jackson's Can't Stop Til I get Enough. Possible my favourite cover version of any song.

From Brazil. Great tune (reminiscent of MIA Bucky Done Gun) and even better video. I dance around at home to this with my children.

It's hard to tell from the titles of the videos on YouTube, but at the end the related videos might contain the right one...

Brilliant !

Thanks a lot; I was looking for song #4 on the list. Na Mangoon Sona Chandi. I was in India at the time this film was out - manic appreciation, huge audiences, and this song blasted out on tannoys all over India.I have absolutely NO idea what it all means, though.
