The Screws Of The World today said Henderson is on his way to Brentford.

I know I should'nt believe everything I read but I would be pissed off if we missed out on this one. I think Henderson could do a decent job for us.

I hope we sign Kanchelskis he would be a god send but please no
Wilson-Denis, Rougier or Piercey the three together wouldnt make ONE footballer

BensGrandad, how much have you seen of Piercy? Maybe you know something I don't but whenever I've seen him play, he looks quality. I reckon, as long as he's given a chance, you could be eating your words by the end of the season. Has looked good in pre-season when he's played and was Man of The Match in nearly every reserve game last year.

Is this Henderson the son of Stewart Henderson who played Right Back for us and then went on to Reading as a player then as coach?

No.

Football is all about opinions and it is my opinion that I wouldnt want him in my old pub team. I hope that he proves me wrong but I didnt see a lot of clubs after him when he left Spurs other than us and Eastborne Borough not even Crawley or Woking and they will have anybody

According to the papers he is, Turkey. We played them very recently and apparently they need a big striker too.

I imagine if he had the choice of one or the other then he'd choose Brighton, you just need to get a bid in before its too late! Its not as if it'll cost much, we'll probably pay most of his wages!

Besides, he can only be on around £1k a week anyway!

Slightly depressing isn't it? Less than 2 years ago, we were beating Reading to the Div 2 title. Now we are wanting to sign up their reserves on loan!!

Not too much. Reading are the perfect example of how a tinpot club can become a major player in Div 1, by having a new state of the art ground. Remember how much bigger we were than Reading when we both had ramshackle grounds?

Seeing as we are a well supported club who got shafted and turned into a minnow, just be patient and watch us pass Reading by as the dream unfolds and we fulfill our potential:clap2:

Ive just spoken to the Reading supporting lad who works for me and he rates this boy very very highly. Id be delighted if we could get him, sounds like just what we need to partner Knight up front.

I'm all for getting decent players in but it really grates with me that we're making do with bloody Reading's cast offs.

I think it's because since thrashing them to the championship 2 seasons ago, the realisation has dawned on me that there is a massive gap between the clubs these days and that it won't really be plugged until Falmer gets built.

Henderson would be a good move though. He's a quality player.
