In a fully fit squad:

Kadioglu for Veltman
Dunk for Webster
Estupinan for Lamptey
Joao Pedro for Welbeck

The debateable one is Ayari for Hinshelwood
Pedro is fit. He’s been dropped for the last two games and rightly so.

I didn’t expect to say this a couple of months ago but we look better without him at the moment.

It turns out the manager might not be the total fraud some on here claimed he was a couple of weeks ago after all

Webster, Baleba, Hinshelwood, Minteh and Mitoma all had great games
Correct but you missed Lamptey.

If you’d said a few months back our back 4 would be Webster and Lamptey left back you’d have feared. Last 2 games against a team who were amongst the best in the league they haven’t conceded. And no I’m not counting a mis hit cross and keeper error on them.

4 (arguably 5) of those who started tonight wouldn’t be in a first-choice starting eleven
4 (arguably 5)? really? Are you serious?

Name them. Lamptey if Estupinan was fit (although Lamptey is up to the job, no worries)? Webster if Dunk was fit - probably getting to the state of being arguable this season...........and that's it.

Pedro was available (and played); Ayari was on the bench. Dunk vs. Webster is arguable (albeit a close contest); Kadioglu was brought as a LB to challenge Estupinan.

So, hogwash basically.

Agreed. I'm interested to see how he copes with it, as he's used to being top dog, considered irreplaceable.

Hopefully he reacts in the right way.
